29th May 2024 (8 weeks ago)Worst, third class, cheap service by them. They scam in the name of cleaning. We have to keep sending followup mails and call multiple times to get our deposit back. Even then, they took almost 3 months to return it. @Taylors: I am not expecting your zero value sorry and response.
23rd May 2024 (9 weeks ago)We recently bought a house through Carters estate agents. Had such a wonderful experience, such a friendly, prompt and warm team. Shame to see such bad reviews on the lettings side, as our experience with them buying a house was great.

5th Jul 2024 (22 days ago)Fantastic service all the way from the start from this agency, especially from Alexandra Read who is the senior lettings manager. She showed me the property while explaining everything to the smallest detail , I was so interested in renting it that she went above and beyond and half an hour late it was already off the market Absolutely brilliant, highly recommend to anyone looking for a property regardless if it's for renting or buying.

20th Jul 2024 (7 days ago)The agents had excellent knowledge about the area, similar properties and the process. Their knowledge was much better compared to other agents I spoke to. Viewings were simple to organise and agents were always available to communicate with.

However, pressure tactics were used which I felt came from mustard agents not the buyers, e.g. completion must be completed by such a date or the buyer pulls out. These ultimatums proved to be meaningless but caused considerable stress and inconvenience.
12th Jul 2024 (15 days ago)Sam and Nick have been amazing from start to finish. No house purchase is ever perfect but Sam did amazingly. Kept us up to date constantly and you could really tell she had our best interests at heart. Both Sam and Nick were great communicators between us and the family we were buying from. I can’t recommended these guys and Alexander Lawrence Estate Agents enough.

From the first email and viewing right through the sales progression chain they have been incredible. It made selling our house easy and effortless. You’d be crazy not to sell through Cow and Co - best agent in London!

When I moved in to the property it was fully refurbished to an excellent standard. One time during winter I had a problem with my boiler with no heating for a few days. I made one call to 1st Choice and Mark dropped off some electric heaters, untill we got it fixed through Mear's. Anyone looking for property to rent then I would definatley recommend 1st Choice.

She was understanding, patient when needed and so so kind. The sale went through incredibly quickly with an offer at asking price before it even went to market because she knew just the couple who wanted to buy it! 5th Jul 2024 (22 days ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
