From start to finish, the service was exceptional, and the sale of my flat was handled with professionalism, care, and genuine commitment. A special mention has to go to Nick, who truly went above and beyond at every stage of the process. He was proactive, responsive, and always willing to take the time to explain things clearly and keep me updated. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and his dedication made what can often be a stressful experience feel smooth and reassuring.

They provided high quality photographs of the proerty, all framed to show it at its best. Throughout the sales process they kept in touch and made sure that everyone in the chain knew what was happening and what had to be done next.

Lydia frequently chased up and down the chain to help speed up the process and responded quickly to any queries we had. Sienna also initially showed us round the property and was very helpful with initial queries A friendly and efficient team who made the process of buying a house easier

I was really pleased with the service the provided, it was good value and they helped sell my flat quickly and once the deal was agreed, Clair Stallwood was very helpful dealing with my buyer and making sure the deal went to completion as smoothly as possible, which it did. No complaints and I would certainly use them again if I was listing my property for sale.
17th Nov 2025 (10 weeks ago)Michael took over managing our property when the previous manager left and looked after us when we vacated the property, he walked us through the process behind recovering our deposit and fairly reviewed our property allowing us full deposit to be returned. He helped reassure us the process and left us feeling confident of our position and is a great reflection of Northwood.

I would have really liked more feedback and more of a push from there end to get creative in the sale space but I feel the experience overall is a positive one.

5th Dec 2025 (7 weeks ago)We didn't end up selling this particular property as we opted to re rent due to a change in circumstances, but we did get Edward Knight to sell another property we have. Hayley did a steller job and got £10k above asking price within a week. Service has been great and communication has been really good throughout.

15th Nov 2025 (10 weeks ago)I was sold Westminster Park in Liverpool (Sourced Development Group) through Alesco, working with ERE Property and Will Kettel. Will Kettel presented the investment as secure, claiming the developer had an impeccable and traceable record. Alesco endorsed this, selling me confidence and security. In reality, Sourced Development Group has a traceable record of failings — they cannot even start projects, let alone finish them. Alesco has proven incapable of delivering any real update. They have no communication with the developer, and ERE Property is exactly the same. Investors are left in the dark, receiving vague answers or silence, with no verifiable information on the project’s progress. This is the closest one can be to being legally scammed. I committed funds in good faith, but what I received was misrepresentation, lack of transparency, and no accountability from either Alesco or ERE Property.
18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

10th May 2022 (3 years ago)1st Choice a friendly family run business always maintained excellent communication which I really liked, if I had any problem weekday, weekend, or on a holiday, Kelly would reply back to my messages for support very quickly and same day. When I moved in to the property it was fully refurbished to an excellent standard. One time during winter I had a problem with my boiler with no heating for a few days. I made one call to 1st Choice and Mark dropped off some electric heaters, untill we got it fixed through Mear's. Anyone looking for property to rent then I would definatley recommend 1st Choice.

From our very first visit to the property, he was fantastic at communicating with us, promptly facilitating a second viewing and acting as an open and reliable point of communication between ourselves as buyers and the sellers. Adam remained professional and friendly throughout what turned into a much longer process than originally planned. He, along with the wider Lions team, was always honest about timescales and kept us well informed about what was happening further up the chain, which we really appreciated. We love our new home and would absolutely recommend Adam to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.
17th Nov 2025 (10 weeks ago)They didn’t sell my house. I had to pull them off and go for a PTX as they began to give me anxiety. They didn’t keep me up to date and when it came to speaking to my PTX company they gave inaccurate information which affected my valuation. They seem like lovely people but I don’t think I will recommend them to anyone as there were just too many issues that I felt I didn’t have to deal with.

Had the pleasure of dealing with Steven when coming to buy my first home and what a guy. Quick responses to any questions or queries. Attentive and says it how it is which is exactly what you want if you’re looking to sell or buy a home! Would recommend far more than the more mainstream estate agent who don’t care about you and only care about their commission. Haig actually care and want to make it work for both parties with clear and concise communication and information. Will 110% be going back to Haig when I eventually look to sell my property in a few years.
