2nd Aug 2024 (7 weeks ago)The sale of my mothers house has just finalised today. Our sale was through Need To View, it was almost a seamless procedure, a couple of bumps along the way, but nothing to do with the company. The staff knew from the start the situation myself & my brother were in with regards to the sale and were empathetic and compassionate throughout the whole process. I am not aware as to whether they are the cheapest in our area, however, whatever they are charging its been worth it knowing that the sale was in safe hands. Would & will thoroughly recommend.
14th Aug 2024 (5 weeks ago)The staff at Brown & Co were so friendly, from James who valued, Mark who showed viewers round, and most of all the amazing Caroline, who always responded to my emails quickly, chased up any queries I had and most of all when things were stressful, kept me calm with her positivity and humour. Brilliant estate agents, I would definitely recommend them!

I used Dean Bickley for my mortgage advisor and couldn’t recommend him enough, always on hand when needed. Very helpful and helped me all the way through my purchase! Overall I highly recommend using the team for any house buying or selling!

I’ve approached this process very cautiously, and with a lot of nerves, but she has been incredibly patient and understanding. She’s been great at taking me through the process in a way that I understand, and I’ve felt supported throughout. This was always going to be stressful undertaking, but the guidance and support I’ve received from Phoebe has been a massive relief. The rest of the team at the Mansfield office have been just as amazing - Lewis, Josh and Abigail. They’ve all been professional and friendly, from start to finish. Five stars, very happy!

Emailed to confirm we wanted the listing taking down from all platforms at the end of the contract 24/06- over a month later (today) they are stilling listing our house! Called and was basically called a liar about informing them, even though Jo Fowler replied to the email we sent, confirming us they would take it down - I don’t know how they are still in business!!! IF I COULD HAVE SELECTED ZERO STARS, I WOULD HAVE.
15th Aug 2024 (5 weeks ago)We were first time buyers and purchased our first home with William H Brown. Our main point of contact was Lily who was friendly and helpful. We didn’t have the easiest journey with our solicitors and Lily was great at helping us chase up outstanding issues, I really think the sale could have fell through without her help liaising between us/the seller/the solicitors. I would definitely recommend William H Brown, our calls were always answered or messages passed on leading to quick call backs, thank you to Jared and Amelia for your support on this also! You are a welcoming and friendly team and we appreciate the support you provided :)

I was recommended by a solicitor to contact them to obtain a RICS surveyor. The surveyor named Tom was excellent. Very professional throughout and advised me the complete process and that he would contact me with a value and subsequently provided me an official report which occurred few days later. Very happy indeed with their service.

I have only sold a property through them but I found Simon very helpful and courteous and was able to make contact at any time with him and get good sound advice. Would definitely recommend!
15th Aug 2024 (5 weeks ago)The worst estate agents I've ever had to deal with. They refuse to fix issues with rented properties such as water damage to the ceilings inside the property and active leaks. Often won't even bother to respond to communication through email or their emergency number. But don't worry they're quick to get in touch when they want money from you! When they do respond to issues raised they're dismissive, incredibly rude and disrespectful. I wouldn't use this business ever again and I would advise you to stay away.
29th Aug 2024 (22 days ago)My mum used Sankeys to sell her house, and what was quite a stressful time for the family, the staff at Sankeys made it so easy. Tracey and Lisa especially were so helpful. The communication between my mum and the office was excellent and this made the whole thing go so smooth. The whole team are fantastic and a real advocate to the name John Sankey. Thanks again. We have received an apology for these. We are grateful to the agency for finding new tenants, but in light of our experience, have decided to manage the property ourselves

The main issue and reason for the low scores is their very poor communication with ourselves and with viewers. They were relying on an auto email system to confirm viewings. We never received any of those emails and had a number of viewers that never turned up. Having cleaned the house from top to bottom and sat waiting to have no shows, then find out the no shows had never received confirmation of the viewing was very annoying. The last viewer that turned up told us it took 3 attempts to arrange a viewing and she was at the point of just putting a note through our door to arrange directly. Without the viewings you can't sell, so to have so much of our time wasted we cannot recommend this company.
