11th Sep 2023 (7 mo. ago)I am so grateful to Richard and the team for all their hard work and perseverance on my nightmare of a house sale, and for turning in into a success! They found me a lovely buyers but due to some big oversights by my buyer’s agent (Chancellors) the chain was at risk of falling apart. Richard stepped in and ended up doing a lot of extra work to rescue it, even helping my buyers on various aspects of their house sale when their estate agent went AWOL. I found Richard very transparent and honest, with excellent knowledge of the local market. He updated me straight away on every development and gave me comprehensive advice throughout. The rest of the team were also organised and effective; they even knocked to check everything was ok when I left my garage door wide open since I’d told them I wouldn’t be around much. I felt the staff all really cared about the clients, properties and the other people involved in the sale. Excellent company.

3rd Mar 2024 (9 weeks ago)While in the process of purchasing a property through Brown and Co, I encountered issues regarding the legality of the build on the land. As a result, I made the difficult decision to withdraw from the process. However, I was disappointed by the way Brown and Co handled the situation. Despite their own terms, they refused to sell my property and terminated the contract. I found their actions to be unprofessional and childish.

Ben Rivett was an invaluable source of advice, both at the planning and valuation stages. The quality of his recommendations helped us readily achieve a very good sale. Natalie Howlett- Clarke handled the negotiation and completion stages with great professionalism. Her communication and responsiveness were first rate. Moreover, I really enjoyed working with Ben and Natalie for their friendliness, honesty and good humour, as well as for their high level of professional capability.

23rd Dec 2021 (2 years ago)I had a very hard time finding a flat before working with Northwood and I cannot fault their service whatsoever. If there were delays, the representatives were quick to get in touch and explain the process. If I had queries, they answers were comprehensive and fast. My representative was Lauren, who initially showed me around the property and was with me every step of the way in getting all the correct documents in, planning a moving in date etc. I have moved a few times now but this has been the least stressful experience I've had thus far - 5 stars and special thanks to Lauren Cudd, who made it not only a stress-free experience but an enjoyable one as well.

11th Dec 2023 (21 weeks ago)The initial visit, photos and valuation were all handled professionally, very happy with this part of their service. I liked that they claim to be a local family run business and was happy to support them with my business. I appreciate that market forces often dictate how much interest the might be in a property for sale. In the 9 weeks my house was on the market I had two viewings arranged and then cancelled...not the fault if the agent ...but in that time didn't have one phonecall from Gilson Bailey to keep me up-dated or to touch base to reassure me. I was very disappointed by their lack of customer service.

They generated lots of interest in our property and did some of the viewings (having familiarised themselves v well with the property) if needed or if we preferred. We just need to get through the last phase smoothly and we will be very happy ‘bunnies’, thank you.

I had a very disappointing experience with them, and I strongly urge you to spread this information as widely as possible. Despite their promises, they never followed through with the service they claimed to provide. I recommend requesting written confirmation from them before making any purchases or commitments.
