29th Feb 2024 (21 weeks ago)Phoned the branch to sell our house, told the sales team would call us, they didn’t. Waited 2 weeks, filled in an online form asking for a valuation. A week later still no contact. Needless to say won’t be bothering a third time.
2nd May 2024 (12 weeks ago)Josh the person we dealt with, was very helpful and made everything easy. He was always quick to get back to us whenever we had questions or needed something.
1st Jul 2024 (26 days ago)We purchased a house through Jackson Stops with Jonathan, he always kept us informed, it was not an easy process for many reasons on our side, but he was always there to help and advise. We will definitely be using Jackson Stops for any future sales. Fantastic service.

Ben Rivett was an invaluable source of advice, both at the planning and valuation stages. The quality of his recommendations helped us readily achieve a very good sale. Natalie Howlett- Clarke handled the negotiation and completion stages with great professionalism. Her communication and responsiveness were first rate. Moreover, I really enjoyed working with Ben and Natalie for their friendliness, honesty and good humour, as well as for their high level of professional capability.- 4th Jul 2024 (23 days ago)In a word, Brilliant. We found every person who works at this branch to be professional, friendly and willing to go the extra mile. We truly felt that they had our best interests at heart and executed a perfect sale within an excellent time frame. 23rd Jan 2024 (6 mo. ago)We’ve taken a little while to settle into our new home before making this review, As we wanted to make a true and honest review of our experience and how we felt. We went to Abbotts in Cromer to see a mortgage advisor and look at a property we fell in love with on right move. Our mortgage advisor Adam, was amazing. We were shown round by Simon and we loved it. So we put in an offer. This was accepted and the ball got rolling. We then found the communication with abbots go downhill. When we called we were always told they would call us back the same day however each time it was usually about 5 days later and after we already found out the information ourselves from calling the solicitor. So it seemed they were always one step behind. We found this to be annoying and thought maybe this was happening to us because we are first time buyers and we “don’t know any better” but this is just our theory. We were disappointed that the communication broke down. We ended up going through our mortgage advisor for everything instead of the estate agents as we got answers quicker and more efficiently. We would like to thank Adam and Olly at Country wide for going above and beyond for us. We really do think if we would’ve pulled out if it wasn’t for them! On completion day we had to remind them to give us the code to the back door so we could enter our property…as they said Watsons had our front door keys. When we went there they didn’t so it sent us on a wild goose chase to try and find the front door key to the flat building. We were given a number for us to call to organise ourselves to find the keys, which in our opinion this should have been sorted out in day of completion by them. Overall, we are happy we are finally in our home. We wouldn’t use abbots again. I know some people probably have a better experience with them but we unfortunately didn’t. We encourage any first time buyers to look about and ask about the best estate agents etc as we didn’t and we ended up regretting
8th Jul 2024 (19 days ago)Money Properties were actually my sellers agent, but as their service was so good (Tracey in particular) I thought it worthwhile to write a review. From first contact all the way through to completion, Tracey worked hard for me to enable my dream of buying my house very close to my elderly parents. She was professional and always friendly and approachable in what was a relatively quick buying process but with quite a long chain behind me so was quote stressful. She always ensured I was kept in the loop and really pushed hard to get to exchange and completion with a short deadline. I can't recommend her and Money Properties enough and should I ever look to be selling my house in Wymondham or if anyone asks me who to recommend, it will be them.- 7th Dec 2023 (7 mo. ago)It was a very long and exhausting experience selling our house and buying our home. We were originally with another estate agent but soon changed to William H Brown and how glad we did! The staff at Cromer were amazing, they dealt with my questions with so much patience and understanding. They even answered the phone when I’m sure they’d have preferred not to! ???? Thank you so much to the amazing team lead by a great manager. Probably the best estate agent in Norfolk!

Contacted agent only to be told landlord would not accept pets - this should have been stated clearly in Rightmove description! (Most agents these days indicate whether landlord will accept pets, particularly given the huge increase in pet ownership after lockdown.) Acorn make bold claims regarding their merits but it seems they have little consideration for the needs of pet owners.

13th Jun 2024 (6 weeks ago)I recently used Arnolds Keys to sell my house in Aylsham. From the moment I walked into their office – which is in the best possible place, right on the square in Aylsham town centre – I found all the staff professional, knowledgeable and easy to deal with. I was impressed that the they listened to my requirements and wishes rather than giving me a sales pitch about how good they were and what I needed to do. Natasha clearly has extensive experience in Estate Agency and had a very practical approach. Kate did a great job of preparing the sales brochure including very good photos and even a 3D tour. Another thing I particularly liked was that Arnolds Keys took time to actually identify potential purchasers that were genuinely interested in the property and, importantly, were actually in a position to buy it, before arranging viewings. This avoided a lot of time wasting. Another point I liked was that the staff worked as a team, including Josh who always was happy to help if Natasha or Kate were not immediately available. It took a little over a month to find a buyer which I felt was good going at a time when the market was quite sluggish. When things got a little bogged down in the lead up to exchange of contracts Fleur (who handles sales progression most diligently) kept in touch with the buyers and both solicitors to get things moving again, so from start to finish I felt that Arnolds Keys did everything that a professional estate agency should do. If you are selling a house in Aylsham or the surrounding, area I would certainly recommend using them.
23rd Dec 2021 (2 years ago)I had a very hard time finding a flat before working with Northwood and I cannot fault their service whatsoever. If there were delays, the representatives were quick to get in touch and explain the process. If I had queries, they answers were comprehensive and fast. My representative was Lauren, who initially showed me around the property and was with me every step of the way in getting all the correct documents in, planning a moving in date etc. I have moved a few times now but this has been the least stressful experience I've had thus far - 5 stars and special thanks to Lauren Cudd, who made it not only a stress-free experience but an enjoyable one as well.

Lucy was efficient and professional and made sure everyone was communicating to enable a smooth purchase. 18th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
