Terrible service based on total lies. Claimed to be doing so much but simple checks revealed that they were doing nothing. Lied about advertising that they never did, surveys they never did and falsified viewings to retain business but they were fictitious. Avoid at all costs for both letting and sales.... Read more

Mitchell from William H Brown knew exactly what we were looking for in a house and helped us to find our dream home. He was very quick to sort out our house viewings despite it being a very busy time for the house market. Bunch of absolute cowboys. Constant arm twisting and putting words in our mouths trying to get more money out of us while buying a property, extremely rude to us when we pointed out that we had told them on multiple previous occasions that we didn't want to use them for our mortgage and conveyancing but they were still sending us letters saying that we had agreed to this. They got the job done in the end but you might think that the staff all get paid minimum wage and have to earn commission if they want to eat.... Read more

I lived in 6 properties in the last 3 years, all based in Norwich city centre. Leaders are by the far the most efficient and friendly team I've had the pleasure of using. I needed to find a place and move in within 2 weeks so was getting quite stressed with my situation and they really went out of their way to help me out. Most notable Tom Palmer. Only a young lad but is quite frankly, fantastic at his job. Really seemed like he cared about my situation and made it happen! Still owe you a beer my man. Definitely recommend Leaders!!... Very nice to you when they think they can get some money out of you. Incredibly rude as soon as you say you don't want to view a certain property. Hung up on me while I was asking him a normal, polite question about another property. Avoid at all costs.... Read more

Minors and Brady have been brilliant. Curtis was so polite, professional and actually felt really easy and comfortable to talk to. No hard sell, and felt at ease! Dan and Charlie were both brilliant at communicating with me throughout the sale, such as for viewings etc and I sold within 4 days of the pics being on Right Move! During the very stressful event of buying a new house, the Winkworth team were brilliant. From the very start of the process, the communication was excellent. Any call back requests were always responded, no amount of questions or queries were too much trouble. They even assisted us when we were having issues with our estate agent. Leah, in particular had endless patience with us when we viewed endless properties - each not being quite right until our 'forever home'. In the run up to exchange and completion Kylee was fantastic. Updates would be given given; sometimes multiple throughout the day. She liaised with the whole chain superbly, even when there were some surprising turn ups. On the whole I cannot fault them Winkworth team for all their assistance. Thank you... Read more

Started off well with the lettings team, highly responsive and informative. Viewing was booked in and went ahead felt somewhat rushed by James as it was later in the day I'm well aware he is a trainee in lettings however he wasn't overly informative on some of the questions that has been asked. Filled in the application for the letting and received no confirmation of delivery. Waited until today to see the progress with the application to only be told that the property had been rented already! Highly unprofessional in my opinion.... Read more

Appreciate this review comes amongst a lot of 5 star reviews but two things: firstly, we would have loved to have the experiences everyone else seems to have had and secondly, our experience completely legit. Initially Barton and Co were very personable, very keen to ingratiate themselves, presenting themselves as a tight-knit, homespun antidote to the more cavalier lettings agents that operate in the local area. However, once we were in the communication dried up once and we rarely received acknowledgement of our emails. Though they did replace our oven quickly when we moved in (they hadn't checked it worked before) we spent the rest of our tenancy with a radiator hanging off the wall at a 45 degree angle, amongst other issues. We were misled as to the nature of our landlords as despite being informed they wanted a professional couple as long-term tenants to look after their property, we were asked to leave the property after a year to vacate for a student let. We were informed we had the opportunity to extend our contract but this was unequivocally not the case, as our emails were never acknowledged and we were never advised of an alternative course of action. I'm sure it was incompetence rather than malice, but they would not accept any culpability nor would they meet personally to discuss. I've worked in both property maintenance and communications so I found their behaviour galling. Furthermore, this move derailed our efforts to save for a mortgage deposit as we were forced to waste it on another rental deposit. Appreciate the above might be a bonus for many buy-to-let landlords in terms of misleading and effectively dispatching tenants when a chance to increase their profits presents itself. But should the wind change in favour of legislation which actually protects tenants from the debilitating effects of cowboy landlords, outfits like these will be found out.... Read more
