If you are a first time buyer I would highly recommend you request to connect to jack. And if the rest of the team are as skilled you will be in amazing hands. We also cannot thank Oliver enough who was able to hit the nail on the head with our property goals without any lag, meaning we did not miss out on any available market oppurtunities. I look forward to connecting again very soon for future investments.

26th May 2024 (9 weeks ago)Well what can I say had all the BS when took on selling our house, up for over 3 months, was in a 3 month contract via Bewley Homes 2/3 viewings in the 3 months, I emailed them at end of contract to take it off the market…no reply back, then another 3 weeks on I get a call about a viewing told them straight away I had emailed them re taking house off the market, but said yes ok for a viewing….then I get a call on the day viewing cancelled. They have since took it off the market. But overall 3/4 viewings in total, not very good
11th Jul 2024 (16 days ago)The estate agent did a great job in finding a place for us twice now. The first time we lived in a landlord-managed place, our new place is managed by Chancellors. After moving in, the Chancellors property managers are failing to address defects in the house in a timely manner. We've notified them of defects over 4 months ago, quotation were booked in the week after. After that they haven't given any clarity on whether or not they are going to act on the quotations and they reply to e-mails in an evading manner.

10th Jul 2024 (17 days ago)We have been pleased with Chamberlain Evans and would definitely recommend them - it seems much less stressful to use a local more personal independent firm.They quickly found us a good buyer, showed people round and were helpful, readily available and knew the market.They also liasoned with other professionals involved and recommended a good solicitor.

We visited the Connells team at the Headington office. The whole team was brilliant from day one. Their Mortgage Advisor, Jack Ballard was simply amazing!! Jack is very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, practical and very efficient. He is always available for you and has great communication skills. He would call you if there was anything urgent even if he was on his holiday. He was abe to quickly understand our needs and circumstances. He brings his vast experience not only as a mortgage advisor but also his previous experience working as an estate agent to the table. This was really helpful for us as you basically get two services in one. He not only helped us find the best mortgage rate at that time but also kept us informed when the rates went down and got us onto a lower rate. Jack's experience working as an estate agent really came in handy for us when choosing the property to buy, negotiating and communicating with the seller's agents, solicitors and expediting the whole process of buying a house which so far has been really smooth and hassel free thanks to Jack. Thank you Jack!! We would highly recommend Jack Ballard to anyone looking for a mortgage advisor.

She instructed a professional photographer to take photos of my home and the results were outstanding. The whole process was smooth from start to finish. Jess and Corinne were a delight to deal with and dealt with all queries from me efficiently. She supported me through the whole process. My house sold in just over 8 weeks as it was the height of summer. I received under the asking price but I was very happy with the final sale price. I went with Truemans solicitor and because they were referred to me by Amelie’s. They are excellent and very competitively priced. On the day I said my final goodbye to my home, Jess turned up with a beautiful bag of goodies from bubbly to chocolate which was a lovely touch. I highly recommend Amelie’s for your next house sale.

We met Emily at the property, she was professional and offered really great tips, on the potential of the property etc. She was straight to the point on what the seller wanted, which put us in the best position. She rang the day after the viewing and we put our offer on the property! Emily was our go to, she was thorough and constantly requesting updates from us, the seller and the lawyers. The whole process will be done by early Jan, I want to say Emily being on the ball has really ensured for us to get through the interim period quicker than prev estate agents we have dealt with. Emily has been a pleasure to deal with, always has a smile, friendly and great communication! I couldn’t have had, a more positive experience and she is a credit to Beals. Thank you!

James imparticular went above and beyond to sort out two very messy and twice broken chains that we were a part of. After almost two, very frustrating years we finally moved and James was with us every step of the way. It was a pleasure to deal with him and Turner’s.

13th Jun 2023 (1 year ago)Hathaways took over management of our Oxford property in April this year, and so far have been a breath of fresh air - it's great to be working again with a family concern, and to feel that they care about us and our tenants. The only issue we had was that some documents were rather unclear, but they responded promptly to my feedback and updated the docs to fix this. Service has been friendly and efficient.
