10th Jul 2025 (6 days ago)Initally seemed like great agents when they let us the property, but only after we signed the lease they told us the property was actually landlord managed - even though the deposit was paid to CJ. We would not have signed if we'd known this. CJ are now illegally holding our deposit while our landlord lies about damage to the property - for which no evidence at all has been submitted - and we are having to fight to get it back. Carter Jonas protect their landlord clients even when those clients are clearly acting in contravention of the Housing Act, as stated by a solicitor. This agent allows landlords to screw their tenants over. Avoid.

24th Apr 2025 (12 weeks ago)Not your stereotypical estate agents. From start to finish, the team here were friendly, proactive and actually made it feel like they were genuinely wanting to help, vs there to do a job. As a buyer in the process with JNP, (so technically not their client), I felt supported the whole way through, this was particularly thanks to Sue. With her help we were able to go from offer acceptance to completion in just under 7 weeks. Nothing felt like too much effort when asking for help and she maintained a great communication channel. The team and Sue remained professional throughout whilst also ensuring they offered a personable touch. If I was to need to sell my property I would 100% be doing it with this team.

Throughout my experience I worked with Tim and cannot praise him enough. He was incredibly professional and a great communicator both when organising viewings of the property I was selling and also when taking me to view new properties. He listened to feedback and took my wishes into account whilst also showing me some properties to challenge my thinking. Overall I was very impressed in all counts and would definitely recommend.

2nd Jul 2025 (14 days ago)My sister sold her house through Scott Fraser Summertown, and the experience was five-star from start to finish. So, when I decided to sell my flat in Headington, I didn’t consider any other agent—Scott Fraser was my first choice, although I had to go through the Headington branch. I did get valuations from other reputable agents in Headington, but I ultimately chose Scott Fraser based on my sister’s positive experience and because their approach felt more grounded and aligned with my expectations. Unfortunately, my experience turned out to be very different. It was a frustrating eight months marked by constant chasing and complaints. Catherine Dernie was fair and realistic with the valuation, and the property sold within a month of being listed. The photography and marketing were handled professionally. What I didn’t realise at the time was that once the property was sold, the case would be passed on to Elaine to manage the sales progression. After the sale was agreed, I received no updates for over three months. I had to chase repeatedly for information and eventually lodged a complaint before I received any meaningful updates. This pattern of chasing continued all the way to completion. Unfortunately, the delays—many of which were caused by slow responses from the buyer and their solicitors—resulted in financial losses that could have been avoided. Even at the point of completion, they were still asking for documents they’d had for months. While I appreciate the initial professionalism shown by Catherine and the quality of marketing, my overall experience with the Headington branch was disappointing. I would consider recommending Scott Fraser Headington—if they had a stronger and more responsive admin and sales progression team.- 1st Jul 2025 (15 days ago)The communication with the Savills office, with Nicky in particular, throughout our purchase was fantastic. They made it so easy to get the information we needed or to discuss any of the requirements. They played a big part in how smoothly our chain progressed.

From my first meeting with George, throughout the sale process and through to Karen's support, excellent communication and understanding of the solicitors' processes, I have been so impressed. They are professional and thorough, but also kind, and I felt that they genuinely care about their clients. The walk through video of the house is an absolute game-changer. Karen has been so diligent and supportive, communicating every step of the process with the solicitors in a warm and friendly but professional way. I am delighted to recommend White Lion Residential.

14th Feb 2025 (22 weeks ago)Strongly recommend the team at TM Wallingford led by Craig Kirkman. No nonsense, down to earth and experienced approach leveraging broad local market knowledge. Action oriented, they get on with the job and set realistic goals based on market insight. Sold our property in Dorchester on Thames successfully in a timely manner. They may not be the least expensive option in the area but you get what you pay for.

We had a lot of issues selling our flat and had previously had bad experiences with two estate agents, so by the time we engaged Andrews we were out of patience completely with estate agents. However, Andrews Uxbridge have restored my faith in estate agents and I am very grateful for the excellent, friendly and efficient service I received. They were proactive and kept me informed every step of the way. Would definitely use them again.

4th Feb 2025 (23 weeks ago)College and county has looked after two rental houses for me for several years and they take all the hassle out of my life. They select great tenants and give regular feedback on how the letting is progressing, they also deal efficiently with the normal household problems like drains, appliance breakages and keep me informed with me having to interrupt my day to sort them out. They have also negotiated HMO licences with the council on my behalf. I have had requests from other letting agencies but am not going to change. Thank you C&C
