26th Oct 2025 (15 days ago)Didn't think the viewings were long enough for the buyer & a more experienced person should have been showing people around not young people who haven't even seen the property before .I also had a sold sign erected in the garden before the property was sold which could be off putting for potential buyers

I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone. Usually , I would suggest speaking to two or three different estate agents but no need here. We also used his company to rent out my parents' property. Hindhead will keep you updated regularly and nothing can be faulted. Outstanding- 28th Aug 2025 (11 weeks ago)I recently completed the purchase of my new home with the help of Alexander Kassis from Connells, and I couldn’t recommend him highly enough. The property was originally advertised through a different estate agent, but Alex stepped in as my mortgage services consultant and handled everything with real professionalism from start to finish. He made the whole process feel a lot less stressful than I expected. Alex is not only knowledgeable and efficient, but also genuinely friendly and approachable, nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Communication was excellent throughout, he kept me updated at every stage and was always easy to get hold of if I had questions. I was also overseas for the entire purchase of the property and so communication was more difficult. I honestly couldn’t have asked for someone better to guide me through the purchase. Thanks again, Alex, for making it easy. As a first time buyer I really didn’t understand the process at all but Alex made it easy. Thanks again Alex and thanks again Connells.

Just 5 days of viewing in total and 2 full guide price offers. The most expensive option, but with faultless handling of the sale, and reassured that should things not go as planned, they will quickly have other interested buyers lined up.

As first time buyers they have made what could have been a fairly stressful process incredibly pain free. We had regular updates throughout the process keeping us up to date on what's happening so we never felt in the dark. They were readily available to answer questions whenever we needed, and always answered what I'm sure were quite silly questions at times in a friendly and non patronising way. Thank you for making the purchase of our first home such a positive experience!

The whole team at Totnes have been outstanding.We are first time landlords and Stags managed all the Health and Safety, legal and financial requirements we needed in place as landlords. That was such a weight off our shoulders! They have great skill in selecting tenants, carry out regular property inspections, ensure that all safety certificates are updated and respond immediately to any tenant queries. As a result, our property remained in perfect condition throughout the tenancy. Thank you, Leigh, Kenzie, Chloe and Poppy for your expertise and for making our life so much easier.

I am incredibly happy with the service I receive each time I rent out a property. Jo Smith is meticulous in detail and ensures that I am up to date with the ever changing rental legislations and requirements of landlords. 4th Nov 2025 (6 days ago)Our experience with this company has been extremely frustrating from start to finish. We were misled from the beginning, as we were not informed that another property was being sold in order to purchase ours. On multiple occasions, we were told that we were ready to exchange — and we even have email confirmation of this — yet it never actually happened. The professionalism throughout has been poor. Partway through the process, a new person took over our sale, but we were never properly introduced or informed of the change, which only added to the confusion and lack of communication. Overall, the communication has been shocking, and due to these repeated failures, we also lost out on two higher offers for our property.
13th Dec 2021 (3 years ago)I have now tried calling this company now for 3 days, left a number of messages all you get is the answer phone. Was looking to buy. I feel sorry for the property owners who are selling through them. I will not be buying through them that's for sure. Stay away property sellers.

4th Apr 2025 (7 mo. ago)Absolutely zero communication after expressing interest in a property, despite chasing several times..politely. Thankfully, I wasn't in a rush or desperate unlike most people unfortunately are. Assured I would be called back/contacted, which had been to no avail. Wouldn't approach them again, if god forbid, I did find myself in a desperate situation.
30th Sep 2025 (6 weeks ago)We have just purchased our house through Christopher’s and can happily say that the service and process from the buying side is as good as people are saying for selling. From first viewing through to completion, Chris, Rob, and Heather were friendly, transparent, and efficient. Working in the industry myself and this being our second purchase, I know how important the right sales progression can be, and their approach to honest and thorough communication on both sides made for a positive and smooth process the whole way through. Would definitely use Christopher’s if we were selling (not that we want to part with our lovely cottage anytime soon) and would highly recommend to anyone else!
