They are just slow to assist when needed and don't always give you the correct information. They did however help us find a place to rent. They are better in oerson than over the phone.

9th Apr 2024 (21 days ago)I wish I had never entertained them at all. I am now left waiting out a 20 week tie in, that I was never told about in the first instance and did not recieve the contract until it was too late to pull out. The house was over valued in the first instance and then spoiled any chance it had on the market. I had a total of 8 viewings across 8 weeks, which in this area is ridiculous, as this is a much sought after street/area. I lost all confidence in this company and am quite frankly disgusted by them. I would warn others to stay well away from them in the future, due to incompetence, dishonesty and lack of integrity

You have fully managed the house, garage and berth at Port Solent on behalf of the trustees for years and recently appraised and subsequent disposed of all three elements of the property to its new owners. You have acted with diligence and competence throughout the process and your firm is to be commended. A shout out especially to Maria, Mandy and Lisa who worked well together to produce the desired result.

20th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)If you can help it, don't use this agency. The first week I moved in, the fridge broke and all my food went bad - when I reported this and a shower problem to one of the staff, I was told in a rude tone that "I shouldn't complain since these things happen" despite the fact that they had time to fix these issues before I moved in as no one had been living there for some time. I rented a property through them for 3 years, and throughout that time the building had leak issues, including damp, mould and others. At one point it was essentially niagra falls coming through a leak in the front room which damaged a part of the room. Throughout a year and a half, I consistently emailed/contacted about this problem. It took me threatening to not pay rent before something was done, otherwise I was essentially left to deal with it which was particularly hard through winter. There was maybe one member of staff who was genuinely helpful, but trying to get consistent contact was difficult. The other staff didn't always respond, or else ignored messages I sent. Despite being a consistent paying tenant, I was eventually kicked out as a new landlord had bought the property and clearly wanted to rent out the flats for a much higher rate, which I don't think would be worth it considering the level of damage the building has. Unprofessional, at times rude, unhelpful and don't care about your wellbeing so long as they get paid.

Would you rent out your lovely home to be managed by a man who once had a day job defending the country in frigates, destroyers or submarines or by a youngster in a shiny suit who defends a corner table in The Armpit Arms on Fridays? A complete no-brainer! And 14 months later, what was the experience like? Without doubt, words like “efficient” and “reassuring” come to mind whenever we ask ourselves the question. It meant that if problems arose (and with human beings they always do) we were swiftly told about them and, soon after, how they had been sorted. Other times we were supported with periodic updates to kept us in the picture about how the house was running. Two examples: the long and detailed handover checklist, both leaving and returning, was calmly organised on our behalf while cleaning services were arranged without having to lift a finger. Would we call upon Greenwoods again – of course. Would we recommend them to others – mad not to! Chris & Jacqui
18th Apr 2024 (12 days ago)My wife and I are absolutely delighted that Ceri Evans has been managing our house in Winchester for so long. Ceri is excellent with tenants, and very proactive, which minimises our involvement, although anything major is always discussed with us. if there are any questions to which we need answers, Ceri has virtually always replied the same day, and sometimes within seconds or minutes of being asked! A real treasure! Tony and Sue Rogers.
6th Apr 2024 (24 days ago)Do not rent any property associated with Nexa especially if you are young!! We have had endless issues since renting through Nexa properties which they are still yet to acknowledge/resolve. These issues include damp within the property (black mould and mushrooms growing), leaking boiler, no hot water for days at a time, lack of security (windows that do not close), we were also without a shower for 3 months. If you are a young person they do not attempt to fix or resolve any issues you have until you threaten the council or not paying rent!
15th Feb 2024 (11 weeks ago)DO NOT USE THIS UNETHICAL COMPANY! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF! They took a deposit from my company, then changed the rules, forcing us to withdraw, and refused to give us our money back! They treat customers like enemies. They wouldn't even speak to us! STEER CLEAR! AWFUL STAFF, AWFUL OWNER, AWFUL COMPANY. The reply below is untrue. They knew it was a company let. I wasn't rude to staff. I just asked for a refund, so they said "don't speak to us again". Their idea of a compromise is all one sided. They hide behind their Ts & Cs and have zero empathy with customers. STEER CLEAR, they are trouble! It is them who are unpleasant! Just look at all the bad reviews!

They were incredibly friendly and helpful and made the process as painless as possible. We would highly recommend them.

He has been superb in the sale of our house and went above and beyond to ensure that our sale went ahead. From the beginning to the end he has had a positive outlook. On our viewings he was bright and bubbly and ensured that the viewers were made aware of the benefits of our property,. When we eventually agreed a sale we had a long process due to the fact that the buyers held up matters, however Rhys would always be pressing to try and speed up the process and always kept us up to date and informed. At one stage our buyer went abroad, Rhys was on calls to our buyer at 1030 at night trying to deal with their queries in an attempt to push our sale through. We can’t thank Rhys enough for what he did for us. He is a real credit to his trade and we would throughly recommend using him to friends and family. Again thank you Rhys Henry
