20th Feb 2026 (5 weeks ago)I cannot recommend this estate agency highly enough. From start to finish, they have gone above and beyond what I could ever have expected. In particular, Amelie Budd, but also Lloyd and Simon have been exceptional. Their professionalism was outstanding, but what truly set them apart was their kindness and compassion. During what can often be a stressful and emotional process, they treated me with genuine care, patience and understanding. Nothing was too much trouble, and they consistently went the extra mile to ensure everything was handled smoothly. Their communication was clear, prompt and reassuring throughout, and I always felt supported and respected. It is rare to find a team that combines efficiency with such a human, empathetic approach. I am incredibly grateful for everything they have done and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for an estate agent who truly puts their clients first.

27th Feb 2026 (28 days ago)The office team were very helpful and patient as I tried to set up a date for valuation. The site visit was very good with a verbal proposal. Since then we heard nothing after the valuation letter. This review originally of 3 stars, prompted a phone call from the agent who was somewhat confused on the low rating. I advised them that I had sent a general enquiry to the Fareham office to seek a Best And Final Offer (amongst 4 other estate agents). Subsequently and in short order the revised offer was submitted.

However I live in County Durham some 324 miles from Southsea and was concerned that I would have to arrange everything remotely. I engaged Lawson Rose and, from the outset, they made me comfortable that they would be able to deal with any local issues that arose. They offered sound advice and guidance based on their in depth experience and knowledge of the local market, and kept me appraised of progress with their highly effective communications. Where they really stood out was when we needed to take action and engage contractors to resolve some issues that were hampering the sale. Lawson Rose arranged suitably qualified contractors and were crucial in bringing the sale to a conclusion. I do not think I could have received a better service anywhere else locally, and certainly not from an online estate agent. Overall I thought their service was outstanding.

From an explanation of the tasks, transparency of pricing, review and feedback to ensure all parties were up-to-date with the status of the sale, advice in negotiation, help during the handover process, post sale touch base to ensure everything was good.
