25th Sep 2025 (7 weeks ago)RATS!!!???? ^Were an issue throughout our tenancy, and Mighty Student Living is by far the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. TL:DR MSL prey on students knowing they can run a company with the most egregious lack of care and responsibility for their tenants, as they don’t have the resources or money to fight back. Do NOT, and I can’t understate this, rent with them. We had a never ending list of issues throughout our tenancy from an unclean house when we moved in, mouldy food left in the fridges from the previous tenant, a massive pile of rubbish in the back garden, broken heating, none existent WiFi, mould issues, and rats (that weren’t removed after they were poisoned so made the worst smell imaginable) just to name a few. On the rare occasions we did manage to get responses from MSL, they either denied wrong doing or ignored the issues (while being extremely rude in the process). When we got the housing ombudsman involved, MSL for some reason decided to reply to our complaints on a Sunday morning, exactly the maximum 8 weeks to the day required by law to respond: make of that what you will. They also stalked and left comments on my Instagram account which is just weird more than anything else. They are only in business due to the fact that uni students only have a few options when it comes to letting in Lancaster, and some are forced to rent with them due to no other options. To any students reading this review wondering, “how bad can it actually be?”, the answer is probably even worse than you think. I would sooner camp on the field in front of the university than rent with MSL again. Further more, if any MSL employees are reading this, then shame on you; you know what kind of company you are working for. MSL was by far the worse part of my university experience and I sincerely hope people read this review and the countless other negative ones and they go out of business.

They have always been proactive getting feedback after viewings and also helpful and knowledgeable throughout the whole process of the sales. If we were to sell again we would have no hesitation using Squarerooms again. Highly recommend!

Their communication and advice helped me though something I hadn't done before. They helped iron out hitches before they could cause a problem. I would highly recommend them
20th Oct 2025 (21 days ago)I can’t fault the staff at Entwistle Green Thornton. I always felt heard, looked after and understood as to what I wanted out of selling my house. The girls are lovely and friendly but they also have that perfect mix of professionalism that you need from an estate agent. They found a buyer pretty quickly and got the ball rolling. Their fees are reasonable compared to others in the area. Abbie was great at keeping us up to date on viewings and the progress of the sale. In fact, she brought the exchange of contracts forward when my parents became nervous that the sale would fall through. It was a great service and would no hesitation recommending them.

20th Oct 2025 (21 days ago)From initial conversation with Claire and discussed my situation she has been nothing but amazing, made me feel very relaxed about renting a property, discussed a couple of options and showed two properties. Settled on the right property and was talked through the process. Within a couple of hours Claire had secured me the property and set the tenancy in place. During the process Claire has been a rock and very reliable offering amazing support and helping me through the process with a friendly hand, nothing had been to much and communication was excellent. The help and support has been 2nd to none and I cant thank her enough for everything she has done. Since moving in over the weekend she has been in contact to make sure I was settled. From a personal perspective I can not thank Claire enough for everything she has done for me and her help and support was invaluable. I would highly recommend both Claire and the rest of the team at Dewhurst who have all been quick and supportive. Ben showed us around the property and was happy to answer our questions. As a first time buyer I emailed Ben about several subjects and he always responded promptly. He kept me updated throughout and the process happened quickly and smoothly.

Although we have not bought a property through the company as yet, our interactions with the Lancastrian Estates team have been a totally different experience from dealing with other estate agents in years gone by. The collaborative use of the street app to facilitate and manage bookings is a revelation and takes the hassle out of endless phone calls trying to arrange viewings, only to be told by some agents you can view the property two weeks on Monday at 4.59 pm for 10 minutes... not the case with Lancastrian Estates, the street app allows you to offer feedback that Kevin and his team genuinely welcome, they offer prospective viewers of properties an objective view and want to make sure that you are buying a property that is right for you and not just looking for a quick sale. We would recommend using Lancastrian estates without hesitation; this technology-based approach to property is the way forward.

Everyone & everything was very professional. Their advertising techniques were unique to them to get themselves & their property noticed. I would certainly recommend them

I now have to put in a dispute with the Dispute Resolution Service after many calls with Your Move Blackburn.

5th Nov 2025 (5 days ago)Overall a good caring agent. Comms. a bit poor initially but improved. Seemed to have a lack of staff to accompany viewings l was asked to show potential purchasers our property. Promise of drone photos did not happen.

9th Oct 2025 (5 weeks ago)Our daughter recommended Marie Holmes to us and they certainly lived up to her praise. They kept in touch with us all the way through the process. Nothing was too much for them. They spoke to the solicitors and other estate agents to try and hurry them along for us and pass on any new information straight away. I hope we don’t move again, but if we did, it would be back to Marie Holmes, without a doubt! Thank you! Rob and Wendy

3rd Oct 2025 (5 weeks ago)They were instructed in Feb and the sale (if it actually goes through) won't complete until Dec/Jan. I was contacted by at least 7 different people and each time they dropped the selling price by at least £5k but more often £15k. I was finally persuaded to sell to a cash buyer, but guess what, another lie.... Buyer will be getting a mortgage so not the 6 weeks completion but more likely 12 weeks. I don't think any of the Let Property representatives who I dealt with told me the truth. I deeply regret ever contacting them and would not advise anyone to use them.
