He saw the potential in my late mother's less-than-snazzy retirement flat, offered a very competitive rate for his services and was proactive, super helpful and good-humoured throughout the process of selling it, which turned out to be lengthy through no fault of any of ours. Wherever he could he made contact with all parties necessary to speed up the process. He was well-informed, communicative and always a step ahead. He more than earned his fee and I would recommend him unconditionally.

18th Apr 2024 (28 days ago)I didn't have a perfect experience with Franklyn James in terms if number of viewings although they were quick to advertise the property and the listing was strong. The market was incredibly slow too so it's hard to say if any other agent would have performed better.
22nd Apr 2024 (24 days ago)Living in London estate agents were great to work with. I viewed flats with Jacob who was super helpful and flexible, as well as patient with all my questions. Megan helped me throughout the process of putting in an offer to the landlord, up till actually getting the keys and moving into the flat. Megan was extremely knowledgable and responsive on email, and would give detailed answers to my (numerous) questions - this really helped me feel more comfortable about the entire process. Overall, the team made this experience smoother than I expected!

26th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)such poor and deceptive behaviour by this company. We provided work over a long period of time and were not paid for our services. Had to write off thousands. Their partner office were ok but then syubsequently did the same thing. As a small business this is so crippling when agents treat suppliers so badly. Weve had to chase adn chase to get some payments made and still this year wriging more money off as I've given up. Thanks Muniza.

17th Jan 2022 (2 years ago)What a different way to sell a home, with supportive, gentle and trustworthy people. We’d been mulling over the idea of relocating out of London for years and even discussed putting our home on the market with Unique previously. What we like is that there is no big sales pitch, no pressure to sell, just listening and responding. But more importantly, keeping both our buyers and us calm, communicative and friendly throughout the sale, so it felt as smooth as it could possibly be. We’re not planning to do move again any time soon, but we’d definitely use Unique if we were.

We had few damages in the flat and they fixed it straight after they were informed. Special credits to Valentina who is very responsive and supportive, as well as Marios at the reception of the Hoola building who is always available to provide assistance.

That was for both sales and purchase and it does not fill you with any confidence. I can only take it that this is a one man(person) band setup.

6th Mar 2024 (10 weeks ago)Avoid this agent at all cost. Called them at 9am the day after an ad was posted. They said that line was busy so I tried calling a few times to no avail. Repeated this for the next few days and got the same response - "busy line, we will request an urgent callback". 2 weeks later, no responses still.

2nd Jan 2024 (19 weeks ago)This is an estate agent on another level. Instead of going for the same kind of corporate, profit driven, pushy stereotype that we have all come to know (and loathe) the team at Hestia’s are the opposite. Their focus is on individuals, they want to really get to know and help people. The people who’s houses they are tasked with selling but also the people who want to buy them. We instinctively got on well with the team from our first meeting and it was just a pleasure working with them. Conversations were always professional and productive, but most importantly they were conversations and at no point did we feel dictated to. Viewings were handled respectfully; communication was great with plenty of notice at every turn and they found perfect buyers for our home. As with any process there were complications, but Hestia’s made a huge effort to help us and our buyer overcome these issues which made everything work in the end. In short without their help, we would not have been able to move when we did. I would not hesitate in recommending Hestia’s to anyone trying to sell their home in South London. They are brilliant and we can’t thank them enough for the effort they put in.

Selling a property is never easy but the Alex & Matteo team have always been very approachable and happy to help. Approaching the sales with a positive attitude they always manage to achieve great results and make me feel confident throughout the process. I moved back to the US last June and unfortunately I am struggling to find brokers with the same positivity and good energy.

However Harvey provided great support throughout the process and ensured the transaction came to a close with always a positive attitude. Particularly the unbiased support we got from Harvey as buyers towards a short term let due to delays in buying the property was the most helpful. Highly recommend! Thanks Harvey!
