Tim, stood out from the competitors - he was empathetic, supportive and 100% genuine. He promised the team would hold my hand throughout the process and they most certainly did that. Rachel, who dealt with the sale demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and kept me fully informed and Christina who dealt with the post sale process was extremely helpful, efficient and kind. She is without doubt - Christina and the Sunshine! I would recommend McFarlane’s Cricklade without reservation.
18th Oct 2024 (6 mo. ago)From the first step through my door I felt a high level confidence in my choice of requesting a valuation of which then led to a acceptable attractive agreement in which to market my home. Super teamwork in the office in ensuring commitments were adhered to in an easy to understand friendly and competent manner from all . We sailed a few rough seas with challenges thrown in but made it through I’m more than happy to say . I give thanks for all the help and guidance shown throughout and wish the Carterton office all the very best.

7th Feb 2025 (11 weeks ago)After minimal success with our first Agent in selling our house, we chose to move to 'James Gesner Estate agents' due to their knowledge of Wallingford and the surrounding area and specifically one area. Having the team represent our sale, and then to find us a property in the area we were looking to move, I would comment that James and the team were exceptional. The data (marketing report) that they provide against the sales element was informative, the viewings that they conducted, were very professional and the correspondence was always relevant, and always available. James is very knowledgeable where it matters and worked tirelessly in supporting both the house sale and purchase, and I felt that he really went above and beyond in providing a great service and doesn't seem to switch off by providing updates whilst in Mexico. James Gesner Estate Agency will certainly be first on my list for any House sales/Letting.

Initially, we were struggling to find somewhere to live in Oxford and our experiences with other letting agencies was stressful to say the least. Rosie was the first lettings negotiator we dealt with that was empathetic to our struggles. Rather than pressuring us into making an immediate decision, we were given time to consider making an offer, and Rosie and was a pleasure to deal with every step of the way. We highly recommend renting with Savills (and Rosie in particular) if you're looking for somewhere to live in Oxford.

26th May 2022 (2 years ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. At first I thought they were too good to be true, but they seem genuinely helpful, reliable, knowledgeable, and so far very proactive with their communication. 5th Oct 2024 (6 mo. ago)At the beginning of my tenancy, the agency seemed very professional and attentive, but unfortunately, my experience changed towards the end. It became clear that they were more focused on representing the landlord’s interests. If you are a landlord, I’m sure they will do a great job for you. However, as a tenant, I cannot say I had the best experience. My advice to future tenants is to document everything. After every phone call or interaction, follow up with an email summarizing the conversation. Trust me, you’ll need that paper trail.
