23rd Jul 2026 (10 days ago)Be careful with your check out, they will try to screw you over and charge extortionate cleaning charges. You may as well leave the place a dirty mess, because you will be billed as if it was one anyway even if it is left with “light dusting” required

Our brocure and accompanying video were excellent. We received many viewings and offers leading to a successful sale. Communications were excellent throughout. We would not hesitate to recommend Liz and Nicola.

Since the first viewing with Sienna, where she was patient and informative as I asked a million questions, down to liaising over email with herself and Mason. Would recommend choosing Brown and Merry in Stony Stratford if you want an amazing and reliable service ??????.

From the very start of the process, to selling our property, Howkins & Harrison in Towcester were fully committed and on the ball. I must also give our utmost thanks and gratitude to Nikki Trott who has been brilliant all the way through. A very professional, diligent, friendly and competent individual who communicated fully and for who nothing was ever to much trouble. Thank you Nikki, we really appreciate your support. We would without doubt recommend Howkins & Harrison to anyone who wants a quality and understanding Estate Agent to handle their property sale or purchase.
8th Jul 2026 (25 days ago)On numerous occasions I have returned their calls. They in return say they will call back ? So I call back, next time they are still at lunch 2pm. They promise to pass on that I am trying to return their calls. Nothing happens ?<br>They have very poor communication skills both with landlords and renters. I am just in the middle, and seldom hear back.<br>In the end for years ( 16 ) to be precise I have put up with freezing cold winds coming through my bathroom window, and they promised to speak to the landlord, over and over again. It was not before I held some of my rent money back I got a reaction, and 6 months later on, I eventually got a new window. Now I am fight for the next ones.<br>Meanwhile rent goes up. Maybe we have a public tribunal on our hands ? We were able to view the property immediately after being listed online, placed our offer which was accepted the same day, before having a smooth end-to-end buying process over the following few months. Brilliant communication for all parties involved (including our conveyancers and mortgage broker) making it super easy (and less stressful!) for our first house purchase. Thank you!!

11th Jul 2026 (22 days ago)What a find. After a whole year of showings we switched to Orchid after a recommendation. Our experience went from misery to delight from then on. Carl’s team along with Kat could not have done more and were full of communications and feedback and more importantly, genuine potential buyers. Within weeks we were under offer and our period of huge uncertainty drew to a close. I cannot thank Orchid enough. We were made to feel like we were their only customer.

17th Jul 2026 (16 days ago)Please stay clear of this company. They are highly unprofessional and have no desire to stand by their own terms and work in a smooth and timely manner. They do not stay updated on any progress when working through a purchase of a property and do not act as if they want to get to completion within their own 60-day terms. I had two occasions on the same property when a mortgage valuation was booked in, and the Jack Senior at Let Property assured me the first would be completed. Once no one turned up at the property to allow access for the valuation, it had to be rebooked, and when I spoke to Jack again he assured me 100% someone would be there. But again, when the valuer arrived at the property no one was there to allow access. Also during the process it would take days, sometimes a week, to get a simple bit of info or just a return call from Jack or anyone at Let Property. They set 60-day completion terms, which I was happy to work to and moved fast on my side, but when they constantly delayed things, it got to the point nothing was moving foward. On top of this, they take a reservation deposit and will not refund it has we are past the 60-day terms even with the delays being their own fault. I would highly recommend staying clear and using any other company. I have found Pure Investor to be very professional, helpful and hardworking to make sure both the seller and buyer are happy and continue to get things moving forward.

As long-term tenants, what has stood out most is their professionalism, reliability, and genuine care for both the property and the people living in it. A special mention has to go to Ellen Horsley, who has been an exceptional point of contact throughout our tenancy. Ellen is always approachable, responsive, and incredibly efficient. Whether it’s been routine queries, maintenance requests, or general support, she has handled everything promptly and with a friendly, reassuring attitude. It’s clear she takes pride in her work and truly values building good relationships with tenants. The agency as a whole has been organized and transparent, making the renting process smooth and stress-free over the years. Communication has always been clear, and any issues have been resolved quickly and professionally. It’s rare to find a letting agency that combines efficiency with such a personal touch, and we feel very fortunate to have been tenants with College and County. We would highly recommend them—and especially Ellen—to anyone looking for a trustworthy and supportive letting experience.
