They went above and beyond the usual requirements of an Estate Agent and I truly believe without their continued support and professionalism the sale of my house would not have gone ahead so smoothly . Their dedication and expertise made all the difference! I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending John German Estate Agents to anyone who is wanting to achieve a quick , efficient and smooth sale.
12th Mar 2025 (17 weeks ago)It's often said that moving home is a traumatic experience and I can't argue with that. All one can do is try to mitigate the stress which comes mainly from the sale of property. Key to this is recruiting an agent that is honest, realistic and helpful, a company that understands the need to plan and will give you an assessment of your property and situation that enables you to do just that. Bagshaws Ashbourne branch did so for me, which resulted in a prompt sale. Inevitably, problems did arise but they were resolved in a professional manner. Their local knowledge and communication skills proved invaluable and resulted in a transaction that satisfied the parties involved. I can wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone considering either buying or selling a property.

From start to finish, Lisa went above and beyond to guide me through the process, staying professional and supportive, even with the unexpected delays. I truly believe the sale wouldn’t have completed without her efforts. Lisa’s communication was excellent, keeping me informed at every stage. I’m so grateful for all her help and would highly recommend her and the team.

Their service was over sold and under delivered!- 27th Jun 2025 (13 days ago)Communication not good. Only want to deal with one party from the sale (my ex) even though we both asked to have all information sent to both parties. Only sent the Momorandum of sale the other party. I have had to chase this for 2 days even though they had sent this to the other party involved. When I rung the manager and asked where the letter was he said oh I was meant to send this to you yesterday. I’ve had to chase information from the estate agents and the solicitors linked in with them I wouldn’t use your move again

Alex took over and found us a tenant in a weeks time. I am so happy and impressed with Alex's persistant follow up, updates and the ownership he takes in making his customers happy. 5 STAR service- you are an asset Alex to reeds rains. Cheers!
17th May 2025 (8 weeks ago)It is hard when you have the agents out to differentiate - but only when it's all gone through do you realise what these agents do. On hand to answer and reassure throughout, there were sticking points in the chain and they helped through all of that process. Not the highest figures quoted on valuations, but we still achieved what we wanted, and their honest advice got us the best offer with the easiest process. Honesty, occassionally not what we wanted to hear, and transparency was key to getting us to where we are today. Thanks again.
22nd May 2025 (7 weeks ago)These agents seemed to know the market better than any of the others I invited to value the property . They were quick , attentive and always kept me up to speed on everything . Can’t fault them and I would definitely recommend to others

25th Jun 2025 (15 days ago)Best agency in stoke on Trent to market your house. They are helpful, friendly and keep you well updated throughout the whole process. We had a different big name estate agent in the past to market my mothers house and had a terrible experience. I highly recommend these guys. Fees are also best out of the lot!

4th Jun 2025 (5 weeks ago)I am absolutely disgusted with Bettermove!! They offered to buy my house for a fixed price, having deducted 20%! Which is what I told them I wanted a 'quick' sale. They offered of 2 options. Or, they said they could market it for a month AND actually LIED and stated they HAD investors INTERESTED in MY property!! Within a week I realised they had NO investors!! So, when the 'month' was up I asked if they would buy the house for the price they had stated instead. They said they would take a FURTHER 20% off AGAIN!!! Had they told me this would happen in the first place I would've just sold it to them!!! AND, in the process, they have DEVALUED the market value of my house!!! I think its absolutely disgusting that they seem to act without any conscience. They lie and are not up front with what the options really are. They have set my house selling back by possibly years now!! If there were an Ombundsman or official way to report them I would do so!

No information on what costs its going to be incurred on each works. There was nothing said to us in the pre inspection of the house before leaving instead one lady came and gave some sarcastic remarks. We lived two years in that house paid a total of £18000 to the agency and yet they captured our whole £720 deposit. Shame on such a greedy acts. If you need money earn by doing good service to the society and families instead of looting of their money. No one ever should experience such a ridiculous situation so I am writing about mine. Beware of your deposits tenants. When it comes to taking money from us they do hundreds of calls and follow ups but when it comes to giving back our money they give no information nothing and just loot. When will people learn to be courteous.
