17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

4th Jul 2022 (3 years ago)terrible attendance. I was attended by a gentleman and I was very embarrassed. I felt like rubbish. me and my husband were treated like nothing. I believe because we are immigrants. I do not recommend this agency to anyone!
9th Jan 2026 (8 days ago)Cailean has been a delight to speak to and extremely helpful through the process of me purchasing my first home. Constantly keeping me updated and informed throughout the entire process. Purchasing your first home is a very daunting as you don’t know how everything works but Cailean made everything a lots less stressful for me. I really appreciate the support provided to me by Cailean and his team including Rob, Lissy and Nick who all helped me along the way. Once I’m ready to move onto my next home I will definitely be asking Connells for their assistance. Thank you so much! :)

It really felt like we were on the house selling journey with “friends” who really cared. This continued with Tamsin who was brilliant with sales progression through to the end The whole team went above and beyond. We felt reassured and supported throughout and would definitely recommend. 27th Sep 2025 (16 weeks ago)Very pleasant and helpful throughout my time as a tenant - they arranged for things to be fixed in a professional and timely manner. Sadly, they fell down at the end of the tenancy: the inspection was handled badly and communication about the end of my tenancy wasn't great. The way they handled the end of my tenancy incurred extra costs for me. Overall, the experience was acceptable but nothing special.
14th Sep 2023 (2 years ago)They over valued the house by £50k therefore they took longer to sell it. Once it was reduced to a better price it sold. I didn't think the write up explained that the house needed modernisation I had to ask for it to be changed. However when I threatened to take the house off the market and modernise it myself a new sales assistant took over the sale she was more proactive and found a buyer.

Le Grys created an attractive marketing campaign that really highlighted the strengths and unique features of the house the photos and overall presentation were excellent. They also managed the viewings with great care and efficiency, giving me clear feedback after each visit. They helped me find a flat at the last minute; got all the paper work sorted, even though it meant extra work over Christmas; and talked me through every stage of the process. They were courteous and responsive to emails—I really couldn't have asked for a better team. Very satisfied.

The sale was not an easy one, numerous challenges and hair pulling moments but Hannah & Oliver were tremendous, didn't miss a beat and at every twist & turn were there, proactive, helpful and communicated very openly and honestly. They always give 100% when transforming and styling spaces and take time to adjust minute details to allow properties to look their best. On top of that they have great personalities and look after those working with them and their customers. I just received a lovely card thanking me for working with them this year, an unexpected touch of kindness.

Polite professional and able to contact very easily , We were kept informed and updated regularly, even if something was just a small Detail. We had quite a long chain the stressful situation of our buyer pulling out last minute Caroline managed to find us a new buyer very quickly she was so supportive not just on a professional, but on a personal level and helped take that pressure off . 23rd Sep 2025 (17 weeks ago)Our property was on the market with them for 3 months. 2 viewings and no sale. The market is not favourable at the moment but pricing of the property was probably not right.
12th Dec 2025 (5 weeks ago)We purchased a house in Crowborough via Peter Oliver and moved over from Tunbridge Wells a few weeks ago. The whole process was really well managed by the Peter Oliver team and we are very appreciative to Kelsie, Barbara, Daryl and Nick for their help moving everything along to a successful close. The whole team is friendly, proactive and solutions focused.
