It is very likely that the sale would have fallen through were it not for the Estate Agents and Sales Progression team, who have been fantastic throughout. Danielle in particular has been outstanding. She has been persistent, flagged potential risks earlier, and been exceptional at keeping us up to date. It has made all the difference working with such an empathetic and hard working person who has helped us get over the line after 16 months. Could not recommend Move Revolution enough.

30th Apr 2026 (7 weeks ago)This was not a good experience and I would recommend avoiding this agency. Firstly though, the positive: They responded to a concern that we had regarding the status of the property that would have constituted a health hazard. They commissioned works to fix the issue and they were promptly and effectively carried out. They were also always polite and friendly in their communication. However the reasons I recommend avoiding them is as follows: They took over management of our tenancy from a previous agency and neglected to perform any checks of the status of the property. When they did take over, they called us to up our rent by 1/3rd. It's quite unusual to raise rent by such a high amount like this. They made it clear that we would have to leave if we couldn't comply, but we grudgingly did as we knew our rent was lower than the market value due to Covid making rents generally lower at the time we signed the contract. When we moved out, they tried to deduct the cost of our professional clean (£170+) from our deposit despite the fact that we'd cleaned it to a high standard and knew we weren't liable. They relied on the assumption that we would be too intimidated to challenge them and that we wouldn't know the law. We fought and won all of our deposit back, and they wasted our time for months and attempted to deny us money which they knew was rightfully ours. Because they didn't have any evidence, as they'd neglected to take any stock of the inventory or the status of the property when they should have, they didn't have any way to prove their claims, which already had no basis. At this time and other times during our tenancy, they also showed a willingness to lie outright, both in person and in written communication, and didn't seem concerned or aware that they were contradicting themselves. For these reasons, I would recommend avoiding the agency, both as a prospective tenant and as an owner. They cannot be trusted in their words and engage in intimidation and manipulation as part of their standard business practice. Their approach might have worked in the past, even leaving aside the ethical issue, but it is very unsuited to the future, where renters rights are ever increasingly protected and people have access to more information and ways to communicate.

Ollie valued our home and gave great insight into the current market and made us feel confident Rowland Gorringe was the right estate agents for us. Harry worked really hard to get good viewings, have really useful feedback and was responsive when we had questions. We couldn't have been happier with the service they provided as well as the wider team, including Megan and Rupert. Thanks again and I would highly recommend this estate agents for both selling and buying

The sale was not an easy one, numerous challenges and hair pulling moments but Hannah & Oliver were tremendous, didn't miss a beat and at every twist & turn were there, proactive, helpful and communicated very openly and honestly. We would highly recommend Savills to everyone - we just hope our next purchase is with Savills.

They were always incredibly accommodating and so kind and friendly. A special mention to Jemma-Louise who showed me such kindness and helpfulness during a particularly stressful period. But also thanks to the whole team; Rose, Dan and Julie too.

They always give 100% when transforming and styling spaces and take time to adjust minute details to allow properties to look their best. On top of that they have great personalities and look after those working with them and their customers. Thomas knew exactly what we wanted/needed in a home. Francis gave us updates weekly, daily towards exchange and completion. Also a big Thank You to Adele too. They initially managed my flat as a rental property and were consistently professional, responsive, and proactive throughout. They made the entire letting process completely stress-free and always handled any issues quickly and efficiently. They also supported the sale of the property and I would highly reccomend them, in particular Michael, who was fab! The sales process ended up being longer and more complicated than expected, but throughout it all Michael was incredibly patient, supportive, and reassuring. I always felt I was in safe hands and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Michael to anyone looking for a reliable and highly effective estate agent.
5th Jun 2026 (16 days ago)When we recently sold mum’s house in Uckfield, we received five star service from Oakfield Estate Agents, in particular from Connor, John and Jade. Communication was exceptional. Even when it was clear that Connor was on annual leave, he was still available to ensure everything went smoothly! This was a difficult time for us as a family and everyone at Oakfield were very understanding and sensitive to our circumstances. We would not hesitate to recommend Oakfield to anyone selling their house.- 11th Jun 2026 (10 days ago)Karen & Connor are both excellent, Karen is extremely knowledgeable and experienced . Connor is very approachable and showed our property fully during viewings . The comms from both are excellent , we loved the fact we were getting initial feedback after viewing with further feedback once they had followed up with the viewers . This takes the frustration of waiting for feedback away. Karen contacted us on her day off to start negotiating our offer . Which was both unexpected and very appreciated. We are now under off and dealing with colleagues of Karen & Connor and so far service is continuing to be great .
