5th Aug 2026 (6 weeks ago)Superb service during our house purchase. We have mainly dealt with Mike, who is a true credit to an industry that often comes under criticism. He is highly efficient and proactive, but also gets the balance right with not being at all “pushy”! He kept my nerves calm when we hit some last minute delays, which I really needed!<br>We also met Sienna on two viewings who is delightful, and builds rapport really easily with her clients.<br>Thanks for everything!

Every time we thought it was over another hurdle reared its ugly head and they went that extra mile to smooth the matters out. Toby was excellent with the mortgage advice and I would highly recommend him. Also Arif was on board with fantastic communication when I spoke with him several times. I can highly recommend all the staff at Connells in Burgess Hill
26th May 2026 (17 weeks ago)Duncan came to view and value our 6 bedroom property in Egerton …stayed for an hour and a half …. left promising to send detailed email valuation … two weeks later still nothing despite calling the office to check he had the correct details. Not very professional and not a good sign. Won’t be proceeding with savills

I live over 600 miles away from the property they sold, & they were professional, extremely helpful & always kept me updated on everything that happened. I would firmly suggest with regard to selling a property with them that you absolutely listen to their advice, particularly with regard to the valuation, always remember they know the market in the area. They didn't just do the basic estate agent things but went above & beyond to ensure the property was sold. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

She was aware it was only a preliminary enquiry with no definite plans to sell immediately, yet the time & attention she gave me was over & above. No sales pitch, or false promises, just straightforward information delivered in such a kind, professional & connected manner. She’s a credit to the company & I wish her all the best regardless of whether I sell or not.

9th Sep 2026 (10 days ago)Very pleasant to deal with and react to enquiries, largely dealt with Amira who was very helpful, other members of the team were quick to step in and show me around the property when I wanted to double check or measure etc. All around a great experience with the Battle office and auxiliary team members. ^^- 11th Jul 2026 (10 weeks ago)Danielle from the letting side has been amazing, she is very good with communication and always keeping me up to date. Always has a good plan ahead and will tell me her thoughts openly and more importantly honest. The sales side really let me down on several occasions and need to do a better job, the lack of communication was very disappointing through out.
7th Sep 2026 (12 days ago)We haven’t bought a house YET from Crane&Co. However, despite the beautiful house we were shown, Dan was an amazing host. He answered all our questions, made us feel so welcomed as if it was his own home, welcoming guests into and even answered questions we didn’t even know we needed to ask. 10/10 customer service

3rd Sep 2026 (16 days ago)We bought our house in 2021 through Nicola Bowler at Foresters and her attention and support was excellent at that time. When our circumstances changed in April 2026 and we were selling the house it was a "no brainer" who we would ask to act for us in the sale . Yet again Nicola and all her team were amazing, and she very quickly achieved a sale for us. She guided the whole process very carefully, and when the property we were proposing to buy hit complications, she and Toby very quickly arranged a rental property for us so that our sale could complete. We would give 6 Gold Stars if we could!

They always give 100% when transforming and styling spaces and take time to adjust minute details to allow properties to look their best. On top of that they have great personalities and look after those working with them and their customers. I just received a lovely card thanking me for working with them this year, an unexpected touch of kindness.

5th Sep 2026 (14 days ago)Thomas…rude, arrogant and, judging by the approach, seemingly more suited to being an ’80s double-glazing salesman than a modern estate agent.<br><br>Reading through some of the other reviews, I noticed a recurring theme in the responses: unhappy reviewers appear to be dismissed as “competitors” or “bots”. So let me make this very clear from the outset, my family and I are neither. We are genuine, serious buyers who were interested in a property on Lansdowne Road marketed at £410,000.<br><br>The agency proudly states that it works seven days a week and late hours, yet when we asked whether a 6pm viewing could be accommodated around our family commitments, Thomas seemed genuinely astonished at the suggestion. Considering estate agents earn commission by actually selling property, I would have thought accommodating a serious buyer at 6pm was hardly an outrageous request.<br><br>Perhaps the most revealing part of the conversation, however, was Thomas referring to a £410,000 property as a “small sale”.<br><br>That tells you everything.<br><br>If I were the vendor, I would be extremely interested to know that the person instructed to market my £410,000 home apparently considers the sale too insignificant to warrant much enthusiasm.<br><br>For buyers, the message seems equally clear: unless your budget reaches whatever figure Thomas personally deems worthy of his time, perhaps adjust your expectations accordingly.<br><br>Once again, before the predictable response appears, no, we are not competitors. No, we are not bots. We are a genuine family, with genuine funds, who were genuinely interested in purchasing one of your client’s properties.<br><br>In fact, the experience has been so poor that I am seriously considering knocking on the vendor’s door and explaining personally why a serious buyer has been put off by the very agent being paid to sell their home.<br><br>It all feels rather less like a professional estate agency and rather more like an ’80s window salesman deciding whether the commission is worth getting out of his chair for.<br><br>£410,000 might be “small” to Thomas.<br><br>But I suspect the vendor losing a serious £410,000 buyer won’t find it quite so funny
1st Aug 2026 (7 weeks ago)We had heard that selling a house is a stressful experience. However we found that it isn’t, if GianFranco at Hortons is acting for you! From the initial contact we found GianFranco to be efficient, professional, proactive and thoroughly pleasant. He sold our property on the day of the first set of viewings and kept us informed all the way up to completion. I could not have scripted a more stress free experience myself. There should be a five star plus rating to do justice to excellence like GianFanco’s. Thank you on behalf of our family.
