17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.
12th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)Wouldn’t recommend!<br>I have raised several concerns about one of their tenants, to Helen & the MD but nothing has been done. Emails are ignored or replied to months later with inadequate excuses, since they moved in in December 2025!<br>I am writing this review at 4 am, having been kept up until 11 pm with the 8 year old child screaming like a banshee again and now being woken up with him banging around the house!<br>I have lived at my property for four years, and the last year has been a total nightmare!

5th Aug 2026 (6 weeks ago)Superb service during our house purchase. We have mainly dealt with Mike, who is a true credit to an industry that often comes under criticism. He is highly efficient and proactive, but also gets the balance right with not being at all “pushy”! He kept my nerves calm when we hit some last minute delays, which I really needed!<br>We also met Sienna on two viewings who is delightful, and builds rapport really easily with her clients.<br>Thanks for everything!

10th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)We sold our home through Burnett's Estate Agents and the experience couldn't have been better.<br><br>When we were thinking about selling our home we met with several estate agents who felt pushy - so finding Burnett's was a breath of fresh air - as from the very beginning they demonstrated a genuine care for our home and the sale being a success on our terms. They took time to get to know our home and show case it in a way that confirmed they understood what we loved about our home.<br><br>Selling a house and moving can be incredibly stressful, but Burnett's made the whole process feel straight forward. We always felt taken care of and valued as clients.<br><br>We are pleased we chose Burnett's and recommend them to anyone looking to sell their home.

Always has a good plan ahead and will tell me her thoughts openly and more importantly honest. The sales side really let me down on several occasions and need to do a better job, the lack of communication was very disappointing through out.

7th Aug 2025 (1 year ago)we were looking for a surveyor for the home we wanted to buy and contacted alot came across charles wycherley estatre agents who also do surveyers reports.well what can i say excellent service and a lovely man who was very knowledgable of the area.a kind man who took the time to go through our report if you need a surveyor or buy or sell your home charles is the person to go through .when i sell my home at some point i will go to charles 5 stars

3rd Sep 2026 (14 days ago)We bought our house in 2021 through Nicola Bowler at Foresters and her attention and support was excellent at that time. When our circumstances changed in April 2026 and we were selling the house it was a "no brainer" who we would ask to act for us in the sale . Yet again Nicola and all her team were amazing, and she very quickly achieved a sale for us. She guided the whole process very carefully, and when the property we were proposing to buy hit complications, she and Toby very quickly arranged a rental property for us so that our sale could complete. We would give 6 Gold Stars if we could!

They always give 100% when transforming and styling spaces and take time to adjust minute details to allow properties to look their best. On top of that they have great personalities and look after those working with them and their customers. I just received a lovely card thanking me for working with them this year, an unexpected touch of kindness.

1st Aug 2026 (7 weeks ago)We had heard that selling a house is a stressful experience. However we found that it isn’t, if GianFranco at Hortons is acting for you! From the initial contact we found GianFranco to be efficient, professional, proactive and thoroughly pleasant. He sold our property on the day of the first set of viewings and kept us informed all the way up to completion. I could not have scripted a more stress free experience myself. There should be a five star plus rating to do justice to excellence like GianFanco’s. Thank you on behalf of our family.
31st Aug 2026 (17 days ago)Would appear the house was over valued by the estate agent so setting wrong expectations about what price could be achieved. Minimal viewings Person showing the house (not the exp lead) arrived at the same time as the potential buyers so house wasn’t opened up or displayed to best advantage No communication from the estate agent I would not use exp again. Very disappointed.

She always kept us up to date with her assessment of the property market and selling strategies using clear, comprehensive communication. She worked tirelessly to achieve a successful sale.
