22nd Jul 2023 (9 mo. ago)They are terrible! I have reported them to the Property Ombudsman due to their bullish, oppressive and unlawful approach to me. Their communications is poor and have very poor management and people skills. Their complaints procedure is inadequate, poorly implemented as led by the person I complained about. No response to a Solicitors letter either.

He was very professional and I would definitely recommend him to anyone who what’s an excellent service.

As I was new in the United Kingdom this was the first agency I saw and met but there services was terrible and the property was damaged from the start and now they are saying it's my fault and they took the whole deposit and even asking me and charging extra money from me....I would recommend never to visit this place.
11th Jan 2024 (18 weeks ago)Our property purchase experience was extremely disappointing and stressful. We initially were made to believe we were entering a straightforward quick purchase transaction with no chain involved. They also asked us to pay them commission to get our offer accepted by the seller, which is extremely cheap and unprofessional..! Shortly before exchange, the seller unexpectedly added complications by bringing in multiple delays and suddenly creating a chain. This caused considerable disruption and uncertainty for us... For well over 3 months. During the process, we felt pressured to complete the purchase and accommodate the seller's unconventional requests, including a leaseback arrangement with an open timeline for his move-out. We were also concerned about veiled threats related to our mortgage. We believe these actions were motivated by factors beyond standard business practices. We are particularly troubled by the estate agent's involvement in suggesting such an unusual rental arrangement, especially considering the seller's previous false accusations against us with the police and seller's own family supporting us with complete respect and being apologetic for the seller's untrue behaviours. We trust that our experience will open the eyes of people to make optimal decisions in their property matters.
13th May 2020 (4 years ago)I really wanted to like the agency. However, having just dealt with some other estate agents I can honestly say that Phillips and CO are very old fashioned and the worst at communication. Let me explain more. TLDR; our purchase fell through after months of discussions. We were initially told by the agent that there is no chain, after weeks of chasing they eventually confirmed that there is a chain - all that needed to happen was a phone call the vendors and some shouting at them. Anyway, We put this hurdle behind us and agreed to wait as the vendor had already found a house. It has been 2-3 months of constant chasing for updates which normally goes like this: 1. I send an email asking for an update 2. A week goes by with no response 3. I call them to find out what is going on 4. They give me an excuse that the vendors aren’t responsive but they are chasing as much as possible 5. They tell me they will call me back once they have spoken with the vendor 6. Another few days...still nothing 7. I call them, raise my tone and again get some stupid response. I fully appreciate that the vendors aren helpful. The issue I have with this estate agent is that they have poor communication skills, no idea on how to manage customer expectations. I have never had to chase an estate agent so much, it’s normally other way around - they chase and you hide! Avoid if possible guys!

15th Nov 2021 (2 years ago)A regular and convenient place to park your car to avoid congestion charges. If you are driving a big cat, it's a chore avoiding the very tight areas when going from floor to floor and parking

I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. 7th Feb 2024 (14 weeks ago)I think I had my best experience ever at Perkins estates. Firstly with Jay on the phone who was very patient and kind helping me with my room research. Then Syar who is a great communicator and he guided me through the viewings. He was very friendly, professional and helpful giving me all the information. Definitely an excellent service. I highly recommend their services.

3rd May 2024 (12 days ago)This is the worst agency someone one could go to, people who work in this agency looks all decent and educated but acts inhuman, all they care about is money. They don’t provide required services at times and blame you for maintenance. Literally they made us evaluate wantedly and looted all the deposit money. When we try to approach they say it’s business. Worst of kind and very inhumane
