3rd Apr 2024 (30 days ago)As an estate agent myself for 20+ years, the service received from this branch and in particular Steve was the worst I have ever come across. My daughter as a first time buyers experience should have been an exciting happy time. When offering on a shared ownership flat, no one got back to her and we chased for answers for over 3 weeks. I personally spoke to Steve to find out what was happening, as this was holding her up from looking at other properties. He advised that he was chasing the housing association but couldn't get hold of them and that my daughter was his priority. We were continuously promised calls back and never had them. To our surprise this morning the flat has come up on Rightmove and Zoopla as sold, no phone call to explain what happened with our offer. To say my daughter and I feel disappointed and let down is an understatement. If I could give 0 stars I would. This is what gives the estate agents a bad name.
15th Apr 2024 (18 days ago)Few years ago the agency let me a flat which was completely filthy and full of defects . When I moved in I found Condoms and rubbish under the bed , blood on the mattress, window full of dust and mud, etc, Back then I only just came to London as a naive foreigner and I was in rush to find a place to stay , I know nothing about how a rented property should look like condition wise , I don’t know about my legal right , and I was being treated like a fool by the their agent . During my one year of stay a few appliances broken because they were so old , but when I contact the agency asked for help they did nothing . And now when I look back I feel shocked how could an agency allow to rent a flat like that. How could an agency provide service like that . Shame on Curtis & Parker !

Over the past three years, the Gardiner and the staff there have been providing me professional advices on prospective purchase of property, careful services and timely preparation of the tenancy agreement including apt details as well as meticulous discharge of the tenancy conditions. Their services has always been prompt, appropriate and bespoke. Certainly the best agency in Ealing and worthy of commendation is the Gardiner.

On top of that he was so supportive when we moved into the property, helping us find the right suppliers for our immediate needs, since we live abroad. Always available and will go the extra mile to support. Wonderful personal touch!

24th Sep 2022 (1 year ago)I really wonder how come they have so many 5 stars reviews when they did not prove anything else other than unprofesionalism and unable to schedule viewings. They showed up on a Saturday unannounced and the agents can’t seem to get the times right. No cummunication whatsoever other than the automatic email confirmation. They do not reply to emails and do not care about improving their services. I am running very low on patience because of them and definitely this is not how you should do business.

1st Mar 2024 (9 weeks ago)We just finished working with Louise Jones and her team (primarily Michelle and Laura) on the sale of our terraced house in Chiswick. We interviewed a lot of local agencies, and we can confidently say that we really made the right decision— they were simply incredible. We were moving abroad on a tight timeline and were by no means the easiest clients; and we had quite a lot of other factors that had to be taken into account. Louise’s valuation of the house was exponentially higher than other firms and because Horton & Garton worked to identify the right kinds of buyers, we had three offers (two well over ask) within three days of being on the market. H&G treat each property as a bespoke sale and it really shows— not to mention the fact that they’re really communicative, friendly and warm people; just an all around pleasure to work with. Louise had previously set the record price for a terraced house on our street last year when she sold our neighbour's house— and now she’s broken her own record!
9th Sep 2021 (2 years ago)We recently sold our house through Gibbs in Pinner and had a very smooth and efficient experience. Adam in particular was key in all this as he understood and circumvented challenges of selling a home with two young children. Viewings were arranged to suit us around childcare and block booked. We were kept informed of updates throughout the process. And advised with our best interests in mind when one issue with the house was presented. All in all can’t recommend them and him enough. He really took care of us and made the process seem easy and stress free!

He was available at all times and had even created a WhatsApp group to help us navigate an already stressful transaction amidst a pandemic. He was very prompt in answering any correspondence and tried his best to ensure everything ran smoothly. As first time buyers, we couldn’t be more happy. We highly recommend them if you are in the market for finding a home.
