6th Oct 2026 (27 days ago)Overall I was satisfied with the service as Henley Charles sold my property relatively quickly. I was less impressed with the initial valuation which I felt was inflated. The property eventually sold for £30k less than the valuation they provided. Communication on the whole was good when I could get through to them but there were times when the phone just rang out. I feel a dedicated receptionist would be helpful to alleviate these issues. The team members were all personable and knowledgeable. I would recommend Henley Charles to others as their fees are reasonable and the after sales process was very good indeed.

Steve, Jules, and Amelia were hands on from the start and the communication and support we received throughout a complex period was fantastic. Unlike some estate agents in the area who make promises that they do not fulfil, FHP provide a first class, personal service from start to finish.

They did a brilliant job selling our house and made the whole process really easy from start to finish.<br><br>Always quick to get back to us, kept us updated and were just really friendly and easy to deal with throughout. Nothing ever felt like too much hassle.<br><br>Really happy with how everything went and would 100% use them again. Thanks guys!

9th Aug 2023 (3 years ago)Were do I start joke of a company 1st of all the staff need to check there grammar n spelling mistakes afther mistakes on head letters half the time they never pick up phones in the office when ever you go in office the staff just look like they woke up out of bed not even smart this company needs to fix up big time

17th Oct 2026 (16 days ago)Edit on 17/10/2026: The service and overall experience were extremely poor. Tony was incredibly rude, whereas Paul’s customer service was good. However, I have serious concerns about the way this estate agent conducts its business.<br><br>I viewed a property and made an offer of £186,000, which was £16,000 above the asking price. Paul told me that they had received offers higher than mine, so I accepted the situation and moved on. However, eight months later, I checked the Land Registry records and discovered that the same property had sold for £167,000 — £3,000 less than the original asking price and £19,000 less than my offer.<br><br>Now, someone might argue that the surveyor’s report could have led to a price reduction. However, that was not the case as far as the advertised terms were concerned, because Zoopla specifically stated that there would be no price reduction following the surveyor’s report.<br><br>Another concern is that Paul never provided an official email address for correspondence or submitting offers. Instead, he used a Hotmail account, which could later allow the company to claim that it was not their official email address.<br><br>More recently, I arranged another viewing through this estate agent. On this occasion, Tony was telling people, including me, to email them at an address that was actually a website address, not an email address. Several people and I pointed this out to him, but instead of acknowledging the mistake, Tony made fun of people, suggesting that they did not know what an email address was. For the record, I am a professional computer programmer, so I certainly understand the difference between an email address and a website address.<br><br>My advice to sellers: please be cautious. Based on my experience, I have serious concerns about whether you will achieve the best possible price for your property through this agent. I strongly question the way offers are communicated and handled, particularly given the significant difference between my offer and the eventual recorded sale price. I am left wondering whether buyers’ interests are being prioritised over those of sellers, and whether sellers could end up receiving less for their properties as a result.<br><br>Proceed with caution and make sure you keep a clear written record of all offers and correspondence.

18th Oct 2026 (15 days ago)Sadly I split up with my Wife of 10 years during Covid. Horton and Senate found me a beautiful place to rent near my workplace and have supported me throughout. When my boiler stopped working and when one of my taps failed they immediately sorted it. Those things are really important to me. Like really important. After six years of renting the landlord decided to sell his property. It’s only been through their support and flexibility that has enabled me to find a new home so quickly. Their staff are amazing and actually treat me like a human being and not just a tenant x

We sold both our properties with him and he was friendly and progressional from the off, throughout both sales he really went the extra mile, always only a message away, would chase various solicitors when asked and progress always seemed to be made when Alex chased. He was excellent and we would recommend him to anyone.
1st Aug 2026 (13 weeks ago)We had heard that selling a house is a stressful experience. However we found that it isn’t, if GianFranco at Hortons is acting for you! From the initial contact we found GianFranco to be efficient, professional, proactive and thoroughly pleasant. He sold our property on the day of the first set of viewings and kept us informed all the way up to completion. I could not have scripted a more stress free experience myself. There should be a five star plus rating to do justice to excellence like GianFanco’s. Thank you on behalf of our family.
