Appalling service. Rented from royals for 3 years and getting them to carry out repairs is impossible. All they advise is a contractor has been appointed to cover their backs. Some issues I have waited over 2 years to be resolved. Waiting on boiler to be fixed, which they have been aware of for over a year. Was advised by engineer heat exchanger is broken, so currently having to boil pans to bath my child. Was told by royals 3 weeks ago that enoginner was away and when he returned he would fix. Spoke to engineer back on 27th April he had not been authorised to do anything.
Communal front door was broken which they failed to fix until I had rent tribunal out. But they didn't notify me as a result returned to property to find could not get in as my neighbour who we share the door with was out and office closed.
Asked who they were regulated by as unhappy that they would not refund cost of lock smith, but request ignored and was told to move out if unhappy.
Now been given section 21, because apparently they are selling flat along with others in the building, but none of my neighbours have been given one.
Would not recommend renting from them.
