Selling a property can be incredibly stressful, particularly when there are delays and complications further down the chain, but Owen was fantastic throughout the whole process.<br><br>He was always approachable, responsive and kept me updated, even when there wasn’t necessarily any good news to give. He went above and beyond to keep things moving and liaise with everyone involved, and I always felt like he genuinely cared about getting the sale completed rather than simply seeing it as another transaction.<br><br>The sale wasn’t without its challenges, but having Owen as the estate agent made a huge difference. He was professional, reassuring and incredibly helpful from start to finish.<br><br>A massive thank you to Owen for all his hard work - I really appreciate everything he did and would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking to sell their property.

The landlord and the agents, Briony and Sulayman, were honestly great throughout the whole process. They communicated with us really well, always kept us updated and made sure we received all the documents we needed on time, which made moving in so much easier and stress-free.<br><br>We also love the area! There are so many convenient shops nearby with pretty much everything we need, so we don’t have to travel far at all. Overall, we’ve had such a lovely experience and are really happy with our new home. ??
27th Aug 2026 (21 days ago)Having just sold our property through Thomas Merrifield’s Didcot branch, I think a five-star review is thoroughly deserved.<br><br>Ours was a less-than-straightforward transaction and took rather a long time to complete, through absolutely no fault of Thomas Merrifield. Throughout the process, we spoke with various members of the team, all of whom were understanding, helpful and willing to pick things up when needed, particularly during periods of holiday and leave.<br><br>I must specifically thank Jamie and Nick for all their hard work throughout. Without their persistence and involvement, I genuinely think the transaction may not have happened at all.<br><br>Jamie in particular was exceptionally hardworking and simply would not let a sub-standard conveyancer get away with poor work (nothing to do with Thomas Merrifield or ourselves, I should add!). He chased tenaciously, kept the pressure on and did everything he could to keep things moving.<br><br>A huge thank you to Jamie, Nick and the wider Didcot team (Jenny, James to name a few!) for getting what was at times a very frustrating transaction over the line. Very much appreciated and highly recommended.

It has been a challenging task but the team never let go of the job and eventually it paid off. Also Nicky arranged a private sale of a cottage in the Village that will suit our needs very well. We believed Tailor made had what it took to get the job done, and within out first week we started to get viewings and considerable interest on the house eventually landing the sale. 11th Nov 2022 (3 years ago)We were recommended Fahrens by friends who had used them before. Fahrens, especially Zak who we sold our property with were absolutely fantastic. We sold our flat and bought a house at the height of the pandemic in 2020/2021 with a newborn baby, such a stressful time but made less so by Zak. He was always there to answer questions, emails etc and was a great support. All the team at Fahrens are so lovely and never make you feel rushed when calling. They even helped us out when there was a leak in the flat above ours whilst we were on holiday by going to the flat on a Sunday to investigate. I can’t thank Fahrens and Zak enough for everything they did for us at that time. They sent our newborn a lovely card and present when she was born too. Estate agents that go above and beyond!

After waiting for days with no contact, I chased it up and got told again they were waiting for viewing dates. One day later I checked and the property has been let.........<br><br>A few months back got ghosted too regarding viewing another property.<br><br>If this is their customer service at the very beginning, would you want to rent out with them?<br><br>Big fat no.
