17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

26th Mar 2025 (1 year ago)Such a brilliant service from a friendly, helpful and professional team who managed the sale of a property. Excellent communication and quick response to emails/phone calls. The team at Sims Williams were all up to date with what was going on with the sale and were reassuring, reliable and informative. I was so impressed with Emma who went 'above and beyond, and I can't thank her enough for this, but also huge thanks to Tamsin, Lynne and Hebe all of who gave a fantastic service. This is the third time I've used Sims Williams and I would wholeheartedly recommend them. Thank you all.
25th Jun 2018 (7 years ago)Dreadful agent, disorganized, didn't communicate with us, slow at responding or managing our expectations. Bit of a backstreet do it yourself type of place, only interested in the commission at the end, didn't check with us before making decisions, bunch of young girls in there who know very little about the industry. Stay clear, use a different more professional experienced agent is my advice.

16th Sep 2025 (7 mo. ago)We enjoyed our time both buying and selling with Hamptons Chichester. Bradley Harris and Max Paravicini were always professional in a relaxed manner, making our move stress free! I would have no hesitation recommending them.
28th Jan 2023 (3 years ago)Walked in to discuss a bungalow they had for sale, whilst in workwear. Had one word answers whilst being looked up and down by a snotty guy. They need to not judge books by covers.

7th Dec 2025 (21 weeks ago)Having never heard of these guys before, whilst looking for a property to purchase, I found one which was suitable through these. The viewing was great, relaxed and enjoyable with a non pushy attribute to it (unlike some I've walked away from). Kept in touch regularly with Darren who was happy to offer advice and support throughout the process of buying especially when it's complicated.. Found when needed a document for a mortgage application, it was sorted extremely quickly and overall a great reliable estate agent in the heart of the local area this establishment serves. Would recommend.
