2nd Nov 2021 (4 years ago)I have just purchased a property through Equus Property. Celia was fantastic, she was always available when I needed a question answered, she stayed in regular contact with me from the very first viewing right through to completion. Celia went above and beyond her duties, she helped speed up the process by speaking to solicitors and chasing things up for the vendor and I. I highly recommend Equus Property and when the time comes to move on i would not hesitate in contacting them to market my property. Thank you Celia for all of your help.
4th Sep 2026 (14 days ago)My overall experience with Tower Estate Agents was extremely disappointing, and unfortunately, I would not recommend their service to anyone.<br><br>From the very first day, the staff were initially nice, friendly and helpful, and I was happy when I received the keys to my flat. However, once I entered the property, I was shocked by the condition it was left in. The place was extremely dirty and completely unorganised. During the first few days, I had to spend my own time painting and cleaning the entire property from top to bottom. The condition was so bad that, even after cleaning, it still didn’t feel properly clean or suitable to live in.<br><br>On top of that, the cooker was not working. I contacted them to get it repaired, but it took a full week for the issue to be resolved, despite them knowing that I have children who needed to be fed. What made the situation worse was the way I was treated when I called. On several occasions, the woman I spoke to on the phone was very rude and gave me an attitude, and she even hung up on me more than once. I found this extremely unprofessional and upsetting.<br><br>Later, I discovered that the mattress provided in the property was in a truly disgusting condition. I could not allow my children to sleep on it, so I contacted them and asked for it to be replaced. Unfortunately, it took three months for them to finally change the mattress.<br><br>For anyone wondering why I waited for them to replace it rather than simply buying a new one myself, this was temporary accommodation, and I was not allowed to replace or dispose of the furniture myself. I therefore had no choice but to wait for them to deal with it.<br><br>Another thing I found very strange was that the manager repeatedly encouraged and pressured me to leave feedback online. At the time, I found this uncomfortable, especially considering the issues I was experiencing with the property and the service. I believe feedback should be given voluntarily and honestly, rather than feeling pressured to provide it.<br><br>Overall, my experience was extremely stressful and disappointing. I expected a property to be provided in a clean, safe and reasonable condition, especially when children are involved. Instead, I felt that I had to constantly chase issues that should have been dealt with before I was given the keys.<br><br>I have also raised my concerns with my council, and I was told that they had received other complaints about this property/service and that they would no longer be booking this place for people.<br><br>I am sharing my experience so that anyone considering using this service knows what they may potentially be dealing with. Please think carefully before putting yourself through the stress and frustration that I experienced.

17th Sep 2026 (1 day ago)We had ongoing issues with the honesty and support we received from this agency during our purchase. Our independently arranged snagging inspector had a failed visit because the developer forgot the appointment and the property wasn't ready. We were charged £399 by the inspector, in line with his standard terms for a missed visit. Rather than holding the developer accountable, a staff member phoned our inspector and questioned his honesty about how the booking was made. The inspector later told us this in writing himself, describing it as "concerning." Only after he pushed back with a clear account of events did the agency admit in writing that we "certainly shouldn't be charged for a service that wasn't carried out," but no resolution was actually offered. Separately, when we queried being asked to cover the developer's solicitor's fees, our own solicitor had already explained the general process to us. Our concern was that the developer wasn't following up as agreed to justify the specific charge. Despite this, we were told the agency was "surprised our solicitor hadn't explained it", which wasn't accurate, since it had been explained. Our actual query was never properly addressed. Our experience was that when we raised legitimate concerns, the agency's instinct was to defend the developer rather than engage honestly with what we were telling them.

I wanted a quick sale so that my aunt could move into a care home and he achieved this, His recommendations for a solicitor and a house clearer were also very good. I am very grateful to him and would recommend the firm

Unfortunately we didn’t secure a sale but I honestly don’t believe this was because of the estate agents, just bad timing. Would I use Kent’s again? Yes I would!

3rd Jun 2026 (15 weeks ago)Dear Sirs Re CEO/Property Manager @ Admiral Taverns Please find enclosed previous emails i have sent to Tom Nicols at everard cole re purchasing the above name public house. I have liaised with him for a few weeks and after having to chase him up i had a viewing at the property. I put an offer in,& again had no reply to calls or emails re the offer so i withdrew the offer. I did then manage to get hold of him and put a higher offer in again no reply, so chased him again, finally he got back to me and i replied with how i would propose my offer and conditions, 100% wanted the property as you can see from the enclosed emails but its been over a week now and he still has not bothered to reply,& again i emailed him last friday to just at least let me know and still no reply!!!?????????????????? I just wanted you to know thats how potential buyers are being treated by him and Everard Cole. Very unprofessional and disappointing as how many other buyers are being treated this way by Mr Nichols ? Im sure Admiral Taverns deserve the best professional business agency possible for their property sales, but it certainly has not happened in this case. Yours Sincerely have to say how very disappointed and disgusted i am at your very unprofessional business manner and your total disregard for replying to potential clients wishing to purchase properties through your company. AND C/O Mr T Nichols Everard Cole Its been a week since i emailed with a proposal and 4 days since i emailed asking for some clarification neither of which you have bothered to reply to and that after me having to previously chase you up too. For you not to even have the decency to reply shows how unprofessional your company is. Clients waiting to hear from you or trying to make business decisions are treated appallingly, and i have passed on my disgust to both Mr Chris Jowsey and Mr Andrew Hallam at Admiral Taverns and to make them aware of the inept service you are practising towards potential buyers of their properties.. Please do not bother to reply to me at all as there is nothing you can say to justify your incompetence..????????????

Always available, always charming, always diligent in following up the slightest lead. He has already achieved a sale with one and I am sure will soon do so with the second.Very happy to have been introduced to him.

This is above and beyond just an estate agents, I couldn't have been helped anymore when getting my tenancy last week to the point Andy gave up his bank holiday weekend to spend in the office correcting a few issues that were no fault of the agents at all to make sure my moving day still went ahead just 48 hrs later. I honestly cant praise this estate agents enough. I would highly recommend 100%. Friendly and so helpful.

31st Aug 2026 (18 days ago)Would appear the house was over valued by the estate agent so setting wrong expectations about what price could be achieved. Minimal viewings Person showing the house (not the exp lead) arrived at the same time as the potential buyers so house wasn’t opened up or displayed to best advantage No communication from the estate agent I would not use exp again. Very disappointed.
