Call backs and emails were responded to really promptly and no question was left unanswered. I would highly recommend and will use them again.

15th Apr 2024 (4 days ago)When the valuer first came to see our property we were very impressed and excited by his demeanor, he was very enthusiastic and he promised us he could get us top market prices and that he would have “no problem” in selling our home. We quickly found out that Igloo don’t phone you to inform you that you have a viewing as we had people turning up to view our home when we were unaware and not ready to have a viewing. Also days would go by after we did have a viewing without Igloo letting us know how it went or even that they were having trouble contacting the viewers. It took 6 months for us to sell our home, with us phoning Igloo several times to discuss lowering the price or changing something in our property. Not once did anyone from Igloo phone to discuss how we could sell the house quicker. In the end we lowered our asking price by £15000 and sold it that morning. Had there been a more accurate price put on the property, or Igloo had called to explain that the market was fluctuating then the property would have sold quicker and we would have been able to look at new properties rather than still making mortgage payments on the property we were in

18th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)At the start of my tenancy things were great but don’t be fooled they are rude when you need help for an emergency. They used completely unprofessional and inappropriate language on the phone when I was in need of help not once but several different occasions. In trying to receive my deposit back from them (agreed with the final visit that I was getting the full amount back) it was a hassle and a half. They forced me to call them several times over the course of weeks to give me my money back which by law they aren’t entitled to if there’s no damage to the property. I will try to avoid them in future if at all possible, they are ok as agents as long as you are paying their clients but even then they were shockingly bad most of the time.

He has highlighted any issues that arrive with the tenancy (small repairs etc) and arranged for them to be sorted very quickly. He has achieved a good rental rate for us and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to rent their flat. We really appreciate the personal touch he provides.

The viewing schedule was a smooth process and after 6 days we accepted an offer on our property. Stuart’s advice was invaluable and I would have no hesitation in recommending Walker Wylie and in fact I have already done so.

13th Nov 2023 (23 weeks ago)Upon moving out, I repeatedly contacted them to release my deposit. Unfortunately, even after a month has passed, my deposit remains unreleased. Following persistent follow-ups, they informed me that they had hired a "sparkle clean" service and would be sending me an invoice for the cleaning expenses. Ironically, I had already hired a professional cleaner to ensure the property was left in impeccable condition before my departure. The house was in a cleaner state than when I first moved in. It is disheartening to note that despite my efforts and the clear state of the property, they continue to withhold my deposit. Their reluctance to return the deposit, coupled with their evasive actions, strongly suggests unethical practices. They are absolute scammers, and I strongly advise others to avoid engaging with them at any cost.
24th Jan 2022 (2 years ago)I can wholeheartedly recommend the team at Yates Hellier. From the start Ross explained the whole process very clearly and put my mind at ease. I chose Yates Hellier as I was impressed with their promises of a more personal touch than the larger West End estate agents and they did not disappoint. Ross and Lisa were very easy to deal with . They were in constant communication with updates and viewings. The whole process from marketing to viewings went incredibly smoothly. Even when my initial buyer pulled out at the last minute, Ross and Lisa swooped into action and found another buyer in a matter of hours! Ross and Lisa dealt with all aspects of selling my flat and clearly know their stuff. They were highly professional, kept in constant touch and we sold our flat for a price we were delighted with. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

However I have recently used Lesley to sell my own home and I can't rate her work highly enough. From start to finish she was open and transparent on the process, cost and what to expect. My house viewings were booked in fast and my house was sold without any issues. Lesley is so professional in what she does however she stands out from the rest with her personal approach. Her knowledge expertise and passion shines through every interaction. I will continue to refer my clients to Lesley and if I ever feel then urge to move again I will definitely be using McKirdy Estate Agents again. Thanks Lesley as always you are a diamond xx

17th Feb 2024 (9 weeks ago)I rented my mother's house in Bearsden a few years ago. The Property Bureau are the worst company I have ever dealt with. They did not check the house during the tenancy and when the tenants left the property was left in a disgusting state.
