27th Aug 2026 (4 weeks ago)I have worked with the Property Bureau for many years and found all the staff very helpful friendly and accommodating.<br><br>Having worked in a lot of the properties for let they are of a high standard.<br><br>I would recommend Property Bureau for all property needs from sales to<br>Letting. A great company to work with.
17th Aug 2021 (5 years ago)Received a letter to say i was liable to pay cost towards a fence which is on my neighbours ground. The estimate from the companies clearly state who is responsible and my address is not on the estimate but they are trying to say it is on the title deeds. I called my solicitor yesterday morning who got back to me in the afternoon and told me it was absolutely incorrect, There is a communal pathway between the two properties and each property has their own individual boundary. Therefore not liable to help with cost of fencing. However my solicitor also told me that the fencing provided when property was built was wooden fence posts with 3 lines of wire to separate the gardens at the front this separation was between 26 and 28 and then a fence between 30 and 32 as there was no requirement to separate 28 and 30 due to pathway. At the back of the house each property had the same wooden posts with 3 wires strung across. Through time resident decided they wanted more privacy and they have all done this in different manors. IE. Hedges, fence panels and some installing brick walls all paid by the individual owner / resident of own property. This company has decided to take it upon themselves to pester residents which have been in their property for over 50 years to subsides their property owners bank account by telling them they need to pay up. I have already put up fencing in my back garden which has enhanced both my neighbours gardens without asking them to contribute to it. I have also had issues with this company as regards to the maintenance of the back gardens they are supposed to be managing over grown bushes,trees blocking out the light to my garden and damaging my garden hut. Which due to the trees and bushes have caused side of shed to be replaced due to dampness caused by the bushes that had grown wild and the roof had to be felted again due to the trees and leaves. I also have a job every year clearing up all the leaves which fall on my decking and the destruction caused to my decking which needs to be painted every year. I have yet to have an apology from the so called business with regards to this and for them to hide behind a title deed. I think they should check before trying to bully people out of their money.
29th Oct 2025 (10 mo. ago)My experience with Walker Laird was very good. We gave them the keys for the house and they showed everyone round the property. Arranging all of the viewings themselves. The house sold within 2 weeks without any problems.

My son, owns his own business , his wife & 5 really well mannered level headed kids applied for a property after viewing to be told the “owner” decided they were not suitable? No credit searches, no full application only how many occupants. Is this discrimination against have a large family and assuming they’re reliant on benefits? He has private rented for some 15 years and never missed a payment. Maybe Clyde should work a bit harder to satisfy owners & renters.

The whole process was handled efficiently and professionally, with clear communication throughout. I was kept informed at every stage, and any questions I had were answered promptly and in a straightforward manner, which made what can often be a stressful process much easier. The sale progressed smoothly, and everything was completed within the expected timeframe. I particularly appreciated their attention to detail and proactive approach in dealing with any issues that arose. I would highly recommend this solicitor to anyone looking for a reliable and professional conveyancing service.

10th Apr 2026 (24 weeks ago)I'd say 1 star is too generous. As stated from numerous other reviews the owner George is a very unpleasant human being. From the very beginning I had issues with the storage heaters not working properly and horrible problems with damp and mould that kept getting ignored and not taken seriously and the solution to this was to keep all windows open all day and night in the height of winter( it was that cold my pipes had frozen) From this George lied to me about the landlord wanting me out of the property yet couldn't provide evidence of this all because he didn't want to take responsibility that his company was failing their basic responsibilities and during this conversation George actively threatened me with violence because I wasn't backing down to his bullying. After stating that I was recording the whole conversation he very quickly changed his tune and wanted to finally try and help but by doing this passed my number onto a central heating company to change over the storage heaters which I was to pay for myself which is ludicrous from a renter. Lastly when I moved out, I had the property cleaned and painted and left items that were already there when I moved in yet tried claiming I had left them and left the property in an unreasonable state especially marks on Walls that were continously having to be cleaned due to black mould, yet never contested giving back the full deposit which shows they were trying to be awkward and difficult for the sake of it. If you can, please stay away from this company.

6th Aug 2026 (7 weeks ago)Unfortunately, our experience with Housespotters Estate Agents was very disappointing, mainly because of poor communication and a lack of professionalism throughout the process.<br>Before our house was put on the market, Amanda was very confident that she could achieve a certain price for our property. However, our first concern was when the photos were taken using a phone rather than professional camera equipment. Although phone cameras are good these days, the photos did not have the quality we expected for selling a property. When the advert went live, there were too many photos, and some did not show the house in the best way.<br><br>The biggest problem for us was communication. After the first week, it became difficult to get updates. There were very few viewings, and things did not improve while we were with them. Calls often went unanswered, and promised call-backs rarely happened. We often felt like we were chasing them for information rather than being kept updated.<br><br>After around three weeks of frustration, we decided to end our agreement with them. What disappointed us most was that there was no real effort to understand why we wanted to leave. We were simply asked to pay the marketing fee so the property could be taken off the market. Once we paid, the only reply we received was confirmation of payment and a short “good luck” message.<br>After this, I noticed I had been blocked on WhatsApp and social media. I also emailed about removing the “For Sale” sign but received no reply or confirmation that this had been arranged.<br><br>Overall, our experience with Housespotters Estate Agents was very poor. Based on what we experienced, I would not recommend them to others. The level of communication, professionalism and customer service was not what we expected when selling our home.

From my very first meeting through to accepting an offer, the whole team made what could have been a very stressful experience feel straightforward and well managed. A special thank you to Stacey and the rest of the team, including the lovely younger trainee team member, who was also incredibly professional, friendly, and a real credit to the company. Everyone I dealt with was knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely committed to providing an excellent service. My property was priced appropriately, they kept me informed at every stage, and everything was handled efficiently and smoothly. Their knowledge of the local market gave me real confidence, and I’m delighted with the outcome. Living with disabilities means everyday tasks can sometimes feel overwhelming, but the team were incredibly understanding, patient, and supportive. They took the stress out of the process and always treated me with kindness and respect. That compassionate approach made a genuine difference, and I’ll always be grateful for it. I’d also like to praise the independent Home Report surveyors they arranged. They were equally professional, thorough, and helpful, providing an excellent service from the outset and making the entire process even easier. If you’re looking for an estate agent who combines expertise, outstanding customer service, and genuine care for their clients, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Peachtree Properties. 9th Sep 2026 (18 days ago)From the first time the valuer met with me at the property till the sale completion date I was treated as if I were their only client. At every step in the process I was kept informed of progress with almost daily updates. Once the flat was sold and the date of completion delayed they told me not to worry about their fees.<br>I cannot recommend the staff at this branch enough for their professionalism.
24th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)I can wholeheartedly recommend the team at Yates Hellier. From the start Ross explained the whole process very clearly and put my mind at ease. I chose Yates Hellier as I was impressed with their promises of a more personal touch than the larger West End estate agents and they did not disappoint. Ross and Lisa were very easy to deal with . They were in constant communication with updates and viewings. The whole process from marketing to viewings went incredibly smoothly. Even when my initial buyer pulled out at the last minute, Ross and Lisa swooped into action and found another buyer in a matter of hours! Ross and Lisa dealt with all aspects of selling my flat and clearly know their stuff. They were highly professional, kept in constant touch and we sold our flat for a price we were delighted with. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

They are both incredibly personable, approachable and professional, and made the whole process feel straightforward and stress-free. Communication was excellent throughout, and we always felt that they genuinely cared about getting the best possible outcome for us.<br><br>The biggest compliment I can give them is that, after our experience, I recommended Bachelors to my parents when they decided to sell their property. 7th Sep 2026 (20 days ago)We were hoping for a quick sale but to not compromise on the value of the property in doing so.<br>REMAX and Carol in particular did not let us down. Everything was explained clearly from the start. Great advice was given in preparing the house for the market. Then Carol took on the viewings too, so we could head out and relax knowing it was in safe hands.<br>The property sold at a very fair price both for us as the vendors and for the couple and small family who will take up residence soon.<br>It was important for us that the home got a continued love and investment. After all we’d been in there for almost 20 years!<br>A fantastic experience working with REMAX Linlithgow and highly recommend them for both buying and selling your property.
