6th Apr 2024 (14 days ago)Our experience with Mov8 was easy they kept us informed with viewing and communication was prompt. The only thing was their offices are in Edinburgh and Glasgow and we are in Carnoustie which was a little inconvenient if we needed to go to their office to sign things
14th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)Lack of communication and not pro-active as I had to instigate them doing anything. Pricing is terrible everything is an extra add on with vat on everything. Too expensive for lack of contact and or proactivity.

Special mention to Shannon and Emma who couldn’t be more helpful with the entire process. They both made the made the move effortless and we’re always keeping me updated with each stage as it progressed.

Call backs and emails were responded to really promptly and no question was left unanswered. She took her time to cover every aspect of a first time purchase for me, made the experience as stress free as possible.

1st Feb 2024 (11 weeks ago)As one of the Team at Slater Hogg, of course I would choose to sell my house with them. Fees were totally negotiable and I must admit I did flap a little as the viewers were slow in December. Thankfully I have now sold my home, achieving more than Home Report and the Team in Bridge of Weir have also been keeping me up-to-date with potential properties for me to buy. So happy with the price I achieved for my property. Thanks guys :)

Peter and his team know what they are doing and provide the standard of service you would expect from a company at this level, easily. I cannot recommend Savills highly enough and will certainly use them again in any property sale or purchase.
23rd Jan 2024 (13 weeks ago)Absolutely outstanding service. Couldn't fault them and can't speak highly enough of the experience we had. If I was ever selling again, I would use Barrhead Property Centre in a heartbeat. Declan is a great guy - he has the perfect balance of professional and friendly, and is so so helpful with every aspect of the sale and mortgage services. There is a family feel to the service provided. Our house was sold quickly at closing date, at a higher price than we expected. If you're considering using Barrhead Property Centre, just do it, you will not regret it.

They managed our property sale in Swinton and consistently went over and above throughout the process. We had full professional photos, videos and drone capture, showing full property views which helped our property stand out and seemed to lead to more viewings. We hit a snag in the process when a sale fell through, however AB got our property back up for sale and it was resold the next day. Would definitely recommend for anyone in the local area.

The viewing schedule was a smooth process and after 6 days we accepted an offer on our property. Their surveyor who met us at the property was very professional, gave us excellent advice about works to enhance the presentation of the property. The sales brochure/ website was well presented and the admin staff were all very friendly and kept us well informed.
18th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

I was kept up to date with feedback and my house was featured regularly on social media. Managed to secure a great offer above home report. Highly recommend!

However I have recently used Lesley to sell my own home and I can't rate her work highly enough. From start to finish she was open and transparent on the process, cost and what to expect. My house viewings were booked in fast and my house was sold without any issues. Lesley is so professional in what she does however she stands out from the rest with her personal approach. Her knowledge expertise and passion shines through every interaction. I will continue to refer my clients to Lesley and if I ever feel then urge to move again I will definitely be using McKirdy Estate Agents again. Thanks Lesley as always you are a diamond xx
