Moving from the United States was already a big task and MRC's willingness to work with us to overcome the hurdles and advocate for us to the landlord was essential in securing a flat. As a landlord, I find their communication is excellent, they regularly update us, guide us through the process of having tenants, and help to resolve any issues. We feel reassured knowing they are experts in this area

27th May 2026 (17 weeks ago)We have just sold through Lovelle and the service has been first class. They actively market properties to their customer base and beyond, they give good advice on making the property more saleable, and they chase offers and sales to ensure they are moving along (Pearl is very good at the latter). We had excellent service from Lee, above and beyond what I expected and what I've experienced previously either in East Yorkshire or elsewhere. Highly recommended.

My house sold within days, and they achieved a price above the original asking price.<br><br>Kerry and Leanne were fantastic throughout, handling all the viewings and appointments while I was working hundreds of miles away. They kept everything running smoothly and made the whole process incredibly easy for me.<br><br>I would highly recommend Whitakers to anyone looking to sell their property.
20th Jul 2026 (10 weeks ago)Having known people who have successfully sold through Symonds and Greenham and being impressed by their social media marketing they were my first choice of estate agents. Sadly my experience was not positive from the point of signing up onwards. Lack of communication throughout, photos taken for the listing but then nothing went out on social media and when I queried was told ‘that needed a different camera’ Why not do the two together instead of putting me to the bother of getting the house perfect for a second time, the video was never done at all despite several enquiries. Viewings were not always fed back in a timely manner, occasions I’ve just had to find out visiting the dashboard which often was not updated, other times it’s simply been a text message which I find incredibly rude. I’m the customer at least make the effort to speak to me rather than a cold text. Sadly due to all this and nearly a year on the market the house is still not sold and I ultimately made the decision to give notice to them. Would I recommend them, sadly no I would not!

6th Oct 2025 (11 mo. ago)Belvoir don’t seem to be flexible in terms of their viewing windows in my opinion. From my experience today, they expect potential buyers to work around them . I requested a viewing at a flat on Lowgate, to basically be told their that their property agent didn’t want the hassle of accommodating me. The manager then proceeded to tell me that they had lots of other viewings at the property, almost insinuating that they can afford to pick and choose bits of business here and there. As a vendor, I definitely wouldn’t be happy with this company!s sales approach. Especially given that I confirmed that I would be in a position to purchase immediately with no chain involved!

3rd Nov 2023 (2 years ago)I have lived in my apartment for 3 years, my ancient boiler got condemned two weeks ago along with the cooker which was here when i moved in, it took the landlord nearly a week to respond to residential estates about the issues, then i was advised by residential lettings to report the landlord to the council disrepair department which i did and i may add i have a vulnerable child in my care as well, the council got in touch straight away and chased them up, 11 days later i get contacted by the gas engineer company to tell me the date of the new boiler, still nothing about a new cooker, i have spent a small fortune on food and electricity feeding us and keeping us warm, no contact from residential estates, they tried saying at one point that I couldn’t be contacted which is a lie, my roof is leaking i cannot sleep in my bedroom as the ceiling is wet and starting to mold, the wall is soaking wet! Not heard anything about the roof either, is this acceptable? Freezing cold, no cooker, cold wet bedroom? Lack of communication, no oil heaters which was said was going to be brought to the property? At this point I expect compensation and the issues to be dealt with swiftly!

Also, poor choice of ID check provider: refusal to commit to what they said they'd do; and their manager seemed uninterested in making it right. I'm just glad I got a preview of how things would pan out if I had sold with them.

4th Sep 2026 (21 days ago)Recently bought a house through Rezee (Hull) and honestly the process was way smoother than I expected. Doing it this way really does cut out that whole gazumping nightmare you hear about with normal sales, which was the main reason I went for it in the first place.<br><br>Communication was good throughout and things moved at a decent pace. Would definitely use Rezee again for future purchases.<br><br>Thanks again!
