25th Sep 2026 (0 days ago)There are a lot of estate agents out there wanting to sell your property and a lot of them putting pressure on you to sell with them. I found that Philip Bannister put no I pressure on me when they came to value my property. Time was not an issue when doing the valuation. Everything was done professionally and explained in great detail. The staff are all very polite and extremely helpful when dealing with viewing appointments. The feedback y o u get is excellent even if there is no feedback they inform you that they called and unable to speak to the person who viewed your property. I have also viewed properties through Philip Bannister and again the staff are extremely helpful and professional. Unknown to me a friend is selling her property and after chatting she is using Philip Bannister and like myself she would highly recommend selling through them. 20th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)Excellent service from start to finish. Whitakers have an excellent understanding of the local market and their pricing is very competitive. My house sold within days, and they achieved a price above the original asking price.<br><br>Kerry and Leanne were fantastic throughout, handling all the viewings and appointments while I was working hundreds of miles away. They kept everything running smoothly and made the whole process incredibly easy for me.<br><br>I would highly recommend Whitakers to anyone looking to sell their property.
20th Jul 2026 (10 weeks ago)Having known people who have successfully sold through Symonds and Greenham and being impressed by their social media marketing they were my first choice of estate agents. Sadly my experience was not positive from the point of signing up onwards. Lack of communication throughout, photos taken for the listing but then nothing went out on social media and when I queried was told ‘that needed a different camera’ Why not do the two together instead of putting me to the bother of getting the house perfect for a second time, the video was never done at all despite several enquiries. Viewings were not always fed back in a timely manner, occasions I’ve just had to find out visiting the dashboard which often was not updated, other times it’s simply been a text message which I find incredibly rude. I’m the customer at least make the effort to speak to me rather than a cold text. Sadly due to all this and nearly a year on the market the house is still not sold and I ultimately made the decision to give notice to them. Would I recommend them, sadly no I would not!
6th Oct 2025 (11 mo. ago)Belvoir don’t seem to be flexible in terms of their viewing windows in my opinion. From my experience today, they expect potential buyers to work around them . I requested a viewing at a flat on Lowgate, to basically be told their that their property agent didn’t want the hassle of accommodating me. The manager then proceeded to tell me that they had lots of other viewings at the property, almost insinuating that they can afford to pick and choose bits of business here and there. As a vendor, I definitely wouldn’t be happy with this company!s sales approach. Especially given that I confirmed that I would be in a position to purchase immediately with no chain involved!

They sold our property smoothly and efficiently, keeping us informed every step of the way. Whenever we had questions, they were quick to respond, professional, and genuinely helpful. What could have been a stressful process was made so much easier thanks to their hard work . We couldn’t be happier with the result, and we’ll definitely be using them again for our future property projects. Also, poor choice of ID check provider: refusal to commit to what they said they'd do; and their manager seemed uninterested in making it right. I'm just glad I got a preview of how things would pan out if I had sold with them.

4th Sep 2026 (21 days ago)Recently bought a house through Rezee (Hull) and honestly the process was way smoother than I expected. Doing it this way really does cut out that whole gazumping nightmare you hear about with normal sales, which was the main reason I went for it in the first place.<br><br>Communication was good throughout and things moved at a decent pace. Would definitely use Rezee again for future purchases.<br><br>Thanks again!

17th Sep 2026 (8 days ago)I was not getting as much communication as I would have liked. Nobody answered my questions on the auction website which I believe was down to Lovelle to answer my questions. I could be wrong and apologise if I am. I would also appreciate the return off my door key.
