26th Jul 2023 (3 years ago)Since the last two months I have been marketing with Carringtons only three viewers view the place and nothing happened as the results and I have reduced the price twice still nothing happened .
I am going to change them or add another estate agent to get involved .
20th Jul 2026 (16 weeks ago)Pollyanna and her colleague Laurie-Anna were very proactive in letting me know that my tenants were moving on. They were then quick to market the property and found my current tenant very quickly. Pollyanna has been very polite and professional via phone calls and emails and I appreciate how patient Pollyanna has been when I have needed questions to be answered.
12th May 2026 (26 weeks ago)Initially found the team to be professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful prior to signing the contract. However, the experience deteriorated quickly afterward.
Communication has been extremely poor and often unresponsive, with commitments made that were not followed through. Overall, the service has felt disorganized and significantly below expectations for a letting management agent.
The property continues to be shown in its current condition, which raises questions about their standards and oversight. Additionally, their knowledge of the local area appeared limited, which further reduced confidence in their ability to manage effectively.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend using them for lettings.
1st Nov 2026 (6 days ago)Delighted with service supplied by Gascoigne-Pees in selling an unoccupied house for us. On initial contact Ken presented G-P well and competitively and thus won the business, Alex showed potential buyers around successfully, and Manager Adrian kept on top of the whole chain with much chasing of solicitors to bring the whole matter to a timely conclusion. We were kept well informed throughout. 5***** service, would use again, and highly recommend.

The service and speed to market the property was fast and efficient. within days everything was managed ,certificates. Inspections etc. I had to do virtually nothing. Within 2 weeks contracts with a suitable tenant was ready. Thanks to the agent who handled everything so professionally. Elin Shepherd.

28th Feb 2016 (10 years ago)I really like this place. I have been several times over the last few years and I have never had a bad experience. It's difficult to predict when it will be busy and whether you'd need to book a table - I've been on occasions when I'd expect it to be busy and it's been very quiet (and vice versa).
The food is great, the staff are really friendly and it's reasonably priced. Well worth the visit.- 15th Nov 2021 (4 years ago)Tom Ward was always there to help us and kept us in the loop at all times. He was understanding when hurdles cropped up and always showed patience and compassion to my elderly mother. A great agent in all respects but in this case with assisted living properties.

Chris was completely on top of everything - and kept me on top of everything too! A really friendly team with a shout out to Jane, Andy and Nick who were also professional friendly and helpful. Would definitely use again!

Minimal viewings
Person showing the house (not the exp lead) arrived at the same time as the potential buyers so house wasn’t opened up or displayed to best advantage
No communication from the estate agent
I would not use exp again. Very disappointed.
29th Jun 2026 (19 weeks ago)Today is completion day on the second house we have sold within a year using Dean and Dierdre! When it was time to manage my father's estate and sell the family home I absolutely knew I needed to ring Dean and ask him to manage the sale for us. Dean, as always was honest, responsive, patient (!) and professional throughout the process. Dierdre is an amazing communicator, link person to all parties, and as a team they are simply the best!
The family thought the sale would be a challenge in the current selling climate but as always Dean and Dierdre rose to this and proved us wrong. Their skill in matching the property to the buyer cannot be understated and they make it look so easy. It is a quality that they possess that many other agents do not. They take a personal interest in the vendor and purchaser and are always available, day or night to provide their professional advice and guidance.
