11th Oct 2025 (8 mo. ago)This agency is a joke. I caught the agent in our backgarden when he gave no notice. We were petrified and as single women it was a truely frightening experience. Stay away from them if possible. Truly awful

Especially impressed by the quality of the viewings where are assigned viewing agent knew our property in and out, and was able to guage interest extremely effecitvely

21st Apr 2026 (8 weeks ago)My property was not advertised on their Enfields site for a number of weeks .. i picked up on this & got an apology & said they were having a few problems.. while in contract with them they sent me 2-3 property's that i might be interested in...poor service in my opinion.
28th May 2026 (16 days ago)Alex & Christine went above & beyond to help us with our house purchase & they weren’t even selling our house. We viewed the house twice before putting in an offer & when we eventually put the offer in. We brought our parents round & Alex was so patient didn’t rush us, just stood & waited. If we ever had questions they were always there. Really quick with responding to emails & keeping us up to date when they received updates. Even after we moved in I called with a question & Christine helped & wished us all the best in our new home. If we ever choose to move again we will 100% be choosing Selby branch to put us on the market! (Not for a very long time though hopefully).

26th May 2026 (18 days ago)On behalf of my son Richard…..I was new to buying a property and Hope at Stephensons was the Estate Agent for the sellers. My own online solicitor and the vendors solicitor were quite slow to the point my mortgage offer was only valid for 6 months (took 5 months 2 weeks to completion). To be honest without Hopes additional work over and above working tirelessly with both sets of solicitors I think I would have lost the house purchase. Hope was so helpful and patience with me when I was getting no updates from my own solicitor. Hope went above and beyond her own job description. Thankyou Hope, I am forever grateful to you for getting this over the finish line. Brilliant work.
23rd Jul 2024 (1 year ago)Knowledgeable estate agent with good understanding of local market. Valuation was spot on with offer received within 2 days. Advertising material was very good. Communication with staff members was good. Estate Agent did not always provide updates via Property Portal thus requiring chaser phone calls that could have been avoided. Fair value for money as prooerty sold so quickly and they had little work to do. Even had to conduct our own viewings as staff not available at appointment times.

They tell you what should be done, tell you when and how it will be done and deliver. They made the whole experience stress-free, were 100% professional, have an outstanding knowledge of the local property market business with the added bonus of amazing value for money and you can't ask for more than that. Always on hand with a listening ear and Max was just the best support as was Andy. I would recommend Hunters Castleford for a rental to anyone as they are great with the personal touches, I always felt listened to and when I needed them they were always there. Thank you to all the fabulous team keep doing you are the best x
