10th Aug 2026 (6 weeks ago)Really wanted to give a zero, the communication from this company is abysmal, they never answer the phone and take an eternity to reply to emails. We did manage to book a viewing of a property we really wanted and were in a position to buy but nobody from the company turned up for the appointment and again I was unable to contact anyone. I wonder if the vendors are aware of the way they are marketing their property because if it was me I’d soon be looking for a new agent. Disappointed I wasted my time trying to pursue this house when I have better things to be wasting my time on.

I originally bought my house through them, and when the time came to sell, there was no question in my mind about who to turn to, I went straight back.<br><br>From the very first conversation, they were professional, warm, and genuinely courteous. The sales and marketing team did a wonderful job presenting the property in its best light, and Pavlo was a superb guide throughout, getting our home in front of the right people and ultimately securing the sale.<br><br>But that was really just the beginning. The support team at F&C (Jane and Janice), were absolutely brilliant, looking after us every step of the way right through to the very end. Their diligence and experience truly paid off, and even though parts of the sale became complicated and stressful, their knowledge and dedication were invaluable right up to the final day.<br><br>We can't thank them enough. After some disappointing experiences with other agents in the past, working with F&C was a real breath of fresh air — personable, talented, and true experts in their field.<br><br>I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this team to anyone.<br><br>Dan Workman

11th May 2026 (19 weeks ago)Selling a detached property in Burton Joyce whilst being based in London could have been a nightmare. With Elite Homes, it was the opposite. They were proactive at every turn. When an issue arose at the property, they were there before I even had to ask. They managed contractors, arranged and followed up every viewing, and kept the whole process moving without me needing to chase a thing. The thing that really struck me was that they were genuinely on my side. They negotiated a strong price, kept me fully in the loop, and never once felt like they were just going through the motions. I physically could not have asked for more. If you want an agent who treats your sale like it matters, Elite Homes is the only call you need to make.

5th Apr 2026 (24 weeks ago)Disorganised viewing and poor customer experience We visited a property through Tanners Properties Nottingham, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing from start to finish. The agent arrived late, and multiple groups were allowed to view the property at the same time. It felt more like an auction than a proper viewing, with no structure or consideration for individual applicants. The agent made little effort to engage—there was no proper introduction, no guidance during the viewing, and he simply stood aside while people walked around. At the end, he briefly mentioned the application process, which involves completing forms that go very deep into personal details. I understand background checks are necessary, but the level of information requested felt excessive and intrusive. It’s also surprising that a company operating this way doesn’t manage proper appointment slots or a more professional system. Background checks could easily be handled through established services like Experian or ClearScore, rather than putting all the burden on applicants. It gave the impression they are trying to cut costs at the expense of customer experience. Although the property itself was good, the service was poor enough that we decided not to proceed. Based on this experience, I would not recommend them.

21st May 2026 (17 weeks ago)I couldn’t fault either of the agents that have helped me, Danni was amazing from the get go, at the viewing she made me feel at ease instantly, she listened to my needs and has helped me every step of the way, I couldn’t fault her and I feel it wouldn’t of gone so smoothly if it wasn’t for her, when Danni was unavailable Jess help me who in turn was amazing too, I really appreciate everything that has been done for me and my daughter, I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for a property to speak to Danni, thank you guys you have been fantastic.
3rd Jan 2022 (4 years ago)I have only very good things to say about this lovely company. If you are looking for a property to rent then I highly recommend Smith & Co. There's a lot of bad landlords out there but in my experience of renting a property from Smith & Co for many, many years now, I can truly say that you wouldn't go far wrong to rent from this caring, compassionate, understanding, professional and considerate company! I have had many wonderful, trouble free years' renting from Smith & Co. To be honest, I really wouldn't want to rent from anyone else now. Sara and her team are all so lovely! After many years I feel like I'm part of one big Smith & Co family! Top notch!

18th Jul 2024 (2 years ago)Wanted details on the Southwell Prebend house after a while I received it requested further information and a guidance on price and a viewing no reply a very well known Southwell resident who I visit discussed it with me ,I wasn't saying I was going to buy it but it would have helped if I was at the very least been given further information . Any how I gave up!! As far as I'm aware unless an agreement has been made which hasn't it should be open for a viewing.

The only contact I had from my agent was to push for the price to be lowered. I decided to list with a dual agent and the property was sold in a few weeks.

15th Mar 2026 (6 mo. ago)I used Emma Terry to sell my fathers house. I fairness to Emma she did a good job and got a good price for it in my opinion. I then went back to her with a view to sell my house which is much larger in Lowdham. I initially had a valuation on my property at the same time she valued my fathers. As she had done a good job on my first sale then I thought I would use her again. Unfortunately when I contacted her by e mail to ask her about the sale of my property and valuation and fees. I was contacted by email stating it was the same valuation as previously given a few months before and no negotiation on fees despite being a more expensive property than the first one she had sold. I t would have been more of a personal touch if she could have found time to have a personal call. The property was hugely undervalued and sold for £100K more than her valuation.

Went for alternative estate agents and sold within 2 weeks. Enquired to view a property advertised on Rightmove after 3 days called me in an unprofessional manner to inform me the vendor isn’t sure about moving. Property was removed off Rightmove. 3 days later received an email about the same property to arrange a viewing. But it was off the market?!?

From the moment we met him, we knew he was the estate agent for us as he’s building a great reputation in Grantham—and it’s easy to see why. He’s incredibly attentive, proactive, and genuinely cares about doing a good job. The whole experience has felt personal rather than transactional, which makes a huge difference. We never feel like we have to chase for updates—Chris is always on the ball, keeping us informed and reassured throughout. It’s clear he really knows his stuff, and his professionalism and dedication really stand out. Looking forward to continuing the process with him—thank you so much, Chris!

We had a very tight schedule, lots of bumps in the road, but Amber and Stu kept their cool, and showed nothing but professionalism throughout. Would 100% recommend. A big thank you from us.
