22nd Aug 2026 (27 days ago)Recent sale of a house in Charlbury. Ted George took care of everything and were always very responsive to any questions or clarifications needed. The house sold close to the amount they suggested and in the expected timeframe.<br><br>They took care of all viewings and provided timely feedback after each one.<br><br>They also recommended a conveyancing firm who were excellent as well.

James sold us our house 10 years ago and after talking to a few agents, we knew Cridlands were the right people to manage our sale. Despite a bit of a difficult and frustrating market, James kept us sane with good advice on the state of the market, recommendations for strategy and when we needed to be realistic on price.<br><br>His experience and skill were very valuable in helping us manage the process from accepting an offer to completion -his regular communications with (and chasing of) all parties smoothed the process and kept things moving. Given we were selling an old listed property there were inevitably queries and James helped us, and other parties, navigate and work through these in a pragmatic way and focus on those that were actually of concern to the buyer.<br><br>James and the team are a pleasure to deal with and we have had some very entertaining discussions along the way, thank you Cridland and Co!

On the last viewing told us we had secured it in the Saturday only to be told on the Tuesday that there was a higher bid. We have been brought in as a bidding baite in this property. Avoid this agent! No office to even call in

Not only were they working on my behalf, but were a great help to my buyers. I would definitely use them again should the circumstances arise.

23rd Jun 2026 (12 weeks ago)Very disappointing experience with Mark David. After eight weeks on the market, we had just one viewing and very little communication or proactive marketing. When we asked why our property wasn’t selling, we were told it was because of Donald Trump and the current wars in the world, rather than being given any meaningful advice or strategy. We are now back to square one and have to find a new estate agent, yet we’re tied into our agreement until the end of July despite many of the things we were promised not being delivered. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I would not recommend Mark David.
25th Jul 2026 (8 weeks ago)??????????<br><br>My husband and I were listed with another agent in Towcester for about 5 months with barely any viewing before making the switch to MG.<br><br>Within 1 week MG delivered and found us a buyer! We would highly recommend MG especially Jo and Tristan. They were extremely communicative and delivered on their promises.<br><br>My husband and I also bought through MG and the journey was almost seamless (hiccups with the buyers and their solicitors ??????) but MG always remained professional and in the loop.<br><br>??????????

We were a 2 hour drive from Chipping Campden and the local knowledge and expertise of Ellie and the team were a huge help in finding the right house. They know Chipping Campden inside out and could tell us everything about local facilities and services. They were also brilliant in getting the sale through - getting paperwork, chasing solicitors and keeping everything moving. If we were selling (we're not) we would use Peter Clarke.

From the initial contact we found GianFranco to be efficient, professional, proactive and thoroughly pleasant. He sold our property on the day of the first set of viewings and kept us informed all the way up to completion. I could not have scripted a more stress free experience myself. There should be a five star plus rating to do justice to excellence like GianFanco’s. Thank you on behalf of our family.
