6th Jun 2026 (21 weeks ago)I would rate 2Roost Estate Agents as average overall — you get what you pay for. They initially valued my property around £25,000 higher than what it eventually sold for, which I found disappointing and unrealistic. The staff were friendly throughout the process and the photographs they took of the property were very good. However, I felt the overall service lacked experience and professionalism at times. On one occasion, my front door was left open overnight due to carelessness, which was completely unacceptable. I also felt there was little flexibility with viewings outside of standard hours, as evening appointments after 5pm were not really accommodated or proactively discussed with me. In addition, some of the offers put forward to me felt unrealistic and far below expectations. While the service was not terrible, it was fairly mediocre overall. Looking back, I probably would have chosen a more established estate agent, even if it meant paying slightly higher fees. Ultimately, you pay peanuts, you get monkeys — lesson learned on my part.

12th Oct 2026 (21 days ago)Choose anyone else.<br><br>We were charmed by the chap who gave to value and photograph our house. But it was all down hill from there. They over valued and under sold our house. They are almost impossible to reach by phone with queries and questions. They seemed to be working for our buyer and not for us.<br>They made over the top requests, including letting our buyer see the house without our stuff before completion.<br>They did nothing to support us when our buyer's electrician unplugged our freezer and we lost all the contents. We ended up paying for our buyer's roof survey and the team did nothing but try to knock us down on price.<br><br>And now the house is sold, and we have paid our fees, they are still emailing trying to get money for our buyer!<br><br>Awful. Just awful. They paid the entire process stressful and traumatic. I ended up having to CC our solicitor into every email just to avoid Reeds Rains screwing us over even more.
21st Feb 2026 (8 mo. ago)Having approached 3 estate agents to value the property I was most impressed by the work undertaken from the outset by Steven Goff. Although not the cheapest in terms of commission they seemed more professional than the competition. Since placing the business in their hands I have been extremely impressed by their work in relation to organising everything such as viewings and marketing and updating me at every stage. I have been most appreciative of the work undertaken by the whole team and in particular Lauren.

We have just moved home & Rob, Alicia, Emily & the team were great throughout the entire process.<br><br>At the start when our previous house went on the market the team made sure it was on for the right price which helped our house sell in under a week. They don’t tell you what you want to hear, they are honest in their valuation & tell you the price which the house will sell at.<br><br>Unfortunately the first sale fell through initially (not of their doing). They were brilliant, they liaised with the estate agent of the house we were buying to inform them of the situation & the plan of how they would get the house back on the market. It was back on the market the following day & sold again in under a week.<br><br>Once the process of moving was underway Alicia - who was dealing with our sale, was always available for a phone call to answer any queries & always answered emails the same day. But when Alicia wasn’t available members of the team would always be willing to take messages & chase up so we didn’t lose any time.<br><br>They also chased all parties involved to ensure the process was completed as soon as possible, it made the entire process a lot less stressful & allowed us to focus on sorting out our property prior to moving as we knew they were doing everything in their power to get the sale completed quickly.<br><br>I could not recommend Anderson’s enough & I will be directing friends & family who are moving, to them to sell their house. We cannot thank them enough!<br><br>Thanks Rob & the team!

26th Oct 2026 (7 days ago)Very strange a house came up for private rent that same day I applied and they rang me saying I couldn’t apply because I don’t live in the area I live 5 miles away from the house,I don’t understand why that would be a problem anyway then asked me what budget am I looking at I said £700 then said I won’t be able to rent with that the house applied for is on for £690

28th Oct 2026 (5 days ago)If I could give them 6 stars, I would.<br><br>We hired PriceLinsey as our property surveyor for a flat we were going to purchase in Chesterfield. The Friday before our Monday survey, we were informed by our mortgage lender that they considered the property "not suitable for a loan" due to "in situ concrete" construction.<br><br>Massive thanks to Jamie, who not only helped us understand our situation, but also educated us in what to look out for in other properties. They truly went above and beyond, giving us the best experience possible of what turned out to be a very unfortunate situation.<br><br>While we were unable to finalize the purchase of the property, we will definitely be calling on PriceLinsey when we're ready to try again.

13th Oct 2026 (20 days ago)?????<br><br>Where do we even begin!<br><br>My partner and I recently sold our property through Hughes, and what a rollercoaster of a journey it's been! Through absolutely no fault of Hughes, our experience of buying and selling has certainly had its fair share of ups and downs.<br><br>It all started when we found our first potential home, only to have our offer rejected. The same thing happened with the second property, but thankfully, it was third time lucky!<br><br>Throughout this process, Lewis was incredibly patient, supportive and reassuring, always reminding us that the right property would come along for us and our family. And he was right!<br><br>Fast forward to the day before completion, and what should have been an exciting time turned into our worst nightmare when our buyers pulled out. Rachel worked tirelessly to get everything back on track, going above and beyond to help save our move. I genuinely cannot thank her enough for her determination, hard work and support during what was an incredibly stressful time.<br><br>Even on completion day, the challenges weren't quite over! The property we were purchasing hadn't been fully cleared, with numerous belongings still left behind. Danielle stepped in and communicated with our buyers, explaining the situation and why we hadn't been able to completely empty our own property.<br><br>What really stood out to us was that, whenever another problem arose, there was always someone at Hughes willing to help, reassure us and find a solution.<br><br>I'd like to say a massive personal thank you to Lewis, Rachel, Danielle and the entire Hughes team. Tom and Natalie went above and beyond to help us sell our home and were incredibly supportive throughout the whole process. Communication was excellent, and they were always easy to get hold of whenever we needed anything. The online portal was also fantastic for keeping track of progress and knowing exactly where things were up to, which made the whole experience much less stressful. We’re so grateful for all their help and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to sell their home. Thank you so much ??????
