Having dealt with several other estate agents during my search, including one purchase with another agent that progressed quite far before falling through with little support provided from that particular agent, I can honestly say the service at Hunters stood out. Vicky, Marissa and team were consistently friendly, responsive, and proactive throughout the process. They were quick to address any questions or concerns, providing clear updates and helping everything move along smoothly and efficiently. Their support made the stress of house buying feel much more manageable. I would definitely recommend them — thank you again!

21st Aug 2026 (30 days ago)Mike Hadfield was polite, friendly and personable. He explained clearly how he had reached his valuation for the property, the selling process, and their fee for selling. He clearly takes pride in his work, which was demonstrated when he spent time taking the photographs to show the best features of the property. We were able to sell the property for the price he had suggested.
19th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)Dealt with this firm as the seller when they represented the buyer on my property sale. Their conveyancer refused an existing absent landlord indemnity policy on completion and pushed for a retention for ground rent arrears. After completion, the ground rent invoice was issued by a company whose active Director is a Senior Partner of this exact law firm. When raised, the Senior Partner dismissed the concern on the basis that I was not their direct client. Be aware of how third-party transactions and retentions are handled here.<br><br>UPDATE in response to the owner's comments:<br><br>I was never provided with an address or contact details for any alleged rent collector, meaning there was literally no door to knock on. It was only when I researched the entity demanding the funds on Companies House that the direct link to this firm's Senior Partner was uncovered. Written correspondence from the conveyancer also confirmed that her client would not knock on a door to pay rent.<br><br>The Absent Landlord indemnity policy had already been purchased in 2018 at my own cost when I bought the property. Refusing existing insurance to extract cash under the time pressure of a completion date resulted in an unnecessary duplicate payment.<br><br>The response above openly confirms that the company which issued the arrears demand and received the payment has a Senior Partner of this law firm as an active Director.<br><br>I never confirmed the matter was closed, having promptly referred the conduct to the regulator. The SRA's assessment explicitly recorded that the conveyancer claimed she was personally unaware that her firm's Senior Partner ran the company collecting the ground rent.<br><br>The documented email trail and public Companies House records speak for themselves.

Great value for money versus others in the area. Hopefully the process to completion will be as efficient but mindful solicitors are involved and that WC . Dawson don’t have too much influence on the timeline of the sale itself.

22nd May 2026 (17 weeks ago)I would give this property management company zero stars if I could. Dealing with them has been one of the most frustrating experiences of my life. They ignored mine and my husbands emails for weeks, they never answered the phone, and somehow made every simple issue feel impossible to resolve. They took our deposit and then told us the landlord no longer wanted to give us the tenancy for no good reason. We had to wait 12 weeks for our deposit to be refunded. As soon as our tenancy contract was signed, their true colours showed. They were both rude, dismissive, and completely uninterested with our concerns. It honestly felt like once they had your money, they wanted nothing to do with you. Communication was awful, professionalism was nonexistent, and accountability was nowhere to be found. I would strongly recommend avoiding this company unless you enjoy stress, disappointment, and wasting your time.

You could always depend on them to put your mind at ease if you had any questions . There professionalism was second to none .

The photos Matthew Clayton took were outstanding and the writeup really helped to generate interest. Geraldine was attentive and responsive whenever questions arose or matters needed dealing with.<br>A first class and very professional service, if you want to sell your property with estate agents who care and take pride in their work choose Ryder and Dutton.
10th Aug 2026 (6 weeks ago)Moved to Bridgfords because another local estate agent had not secured many viewings in 3 months and/or sold our home. When the ladies at Bridgfords took over, they sold our home in 1 month. If you are serious about selling your home, these ladies are serious about selling it for you. I cannot speak highly enough of them and verbally recommend them to anyone selling a house.

Communication was easy, and they were helpful in explaining the details and answering questions along the way. I feel that my property has not been dealt with as seriously or efficiently as I expected.<br><br>I’ve had to go into the office and sit there daily just to try to get things moving, but even after doing that, I haven’t seen the progress I expected.<br><br>I’m extremely frustrated with the service I’ve received and, based on my experience, I would recommend considering other estate agents before choosing Black Stone.

3rd Sep 2026 (17 days ago)We used this company when selling our house, and having previously dealt with other estate agents, the positive experience we had with Wilson was even more noticeable.<br><br>From the very beginning, they were incredibly responsive and answered all our questions straight away. They gave us a realistic valuation of our property, unlike some other agents who deliberately overvalue a house to win your business and then gradually reduce the price.<br><br>They also think of everything. From the quality of the photographs and the property description to providing useful information about the local area, they clearly put a lot of thought into how to present your property in the best possible way.<br><br>Our buyer’s solicitor was unfortunately very slow, which could easily have made the whole process extremely stressful and drawn-out. The Wilson team took the initiative, helped organise the negotiations and kept things moving. Thanks to them, the sale was completed much more quickly than it otherwise might have been.<br><br>Everyone we dealt with was knowledgeable, patient and highly professional. Selling a house can be a very stressful and complicated process, but with Wilson we felt that we could trust them to deal with things and keep us informed throughout.<br><br>It’s no surprise that we are seeing more and more Wilson boards around the area. They have earned their reputation. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone selling their property.
28th Jul 2026 (8 weeks ago)Through out the year, general expectations of a letting agency were met. However, due to a couple instances, this rules out a good review.<br><br>One - they lied about attending a property when a fire risk was present, protecting their maintenance crew rather than admitting fault on their behalf. This was extremely concerning as all of our belongings including the house could have been destroyed!<br><br>Two - at the end of the tenancy, they charged their flat rate of £50 for a mattress clean for a tiny (1inchx1inch) brown mark, when the mattress was already measured by their own metric as ‘7’ meaning ‘minor marks or minor signs of wear and tear’. Then lied about the proceedings of the deposit return - stating that they would take all of the deposit if they did not accept our counter offer after three attempts via a 3rd party, causing our lead tenant to send a lower offer of £25, worried that they would take the whole deposit. However, this was a lie and this is not how the 3rd party operated, but it was too late to retrieve the offer once it has been accepted.<br>Additionally a mattress clean costs £50 or it doesn’t, the fact they even took our lower offer of £25 reveals they were just out for a quick cash grab, disgusting<br><br>All in all, MCR Move has a track record of a lying, do not go with them! Plenty of better agencies out there!
