12th Mar 2026 (14 weeks ago)Savills were the letting agent for my property for about 6yrs after being bought by Area Estates. Savills do bare minimum with regards to repairs and maintenance. Camilla Kirby who recently left the company was lovely and made every effort to assist with the limited authority she had, sadly she was replaced by Rachel Bentley who is condescending, rude and quite frankly should not deal with the public in any capacity. Following a S21 notice due to selling before the new landlord rules come into affect in May, they attempted to charge £760 for removal of a fish tank from the loft of property despite it being in the property from the beginning of the tenancy and having no proof it wasn’t. She lied in a reference and stated that it couldn’t be changed as the director had approved it, and when I pressed her saying the reference was factually incorrect she stated “the DWP may be able to assist you with something in writing about your benefits”.
6th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)Avoid at all costs Horrific experience with this letting agent. They would never reply to any emails about work needing to be done. However if they needed something they would expect me to reply straight away. For months I asked if something could be done over the flooring as it was so poorly fitted and a huge trip hazard, we had a child in the house. They refused to fix the floor but tried to take my deposit to replace it once I left. The DPS obviously didn't agree to this as the flooring was in such poor condition on commencement of the tenancy. I feel sorry to whoever has moved into the property as it was in desperate need of decorating. I think the landlord had tried to do odd jobs themself but clearly wasn't very skilled. The car park was also underwater due to the biggest pothole I have ever seen. We only lived in the property for a year because we couldn't cope with the lack of communication. Our current letting agent and all previous have been amazing so we weren't expecting such a poor experience.

2nd Jan 2026 (24 weeks ago)m our first contact with your office we were impressed with the professional, relaxed approach we received from Adam who attended the address to do the valuation. He was attentive and knowledgeable. We then had dealings with Beth. Again from the onset we were pleased with her calm professional attitude. As we progressed through the process we encountered a number of issues and delays. We struggled with obtaining information from our solicitors, and there were a couple of times where we considered taking the property off the market as the process was becoming too onerous. However Beth stepped up and essentially took control of things. She has a knack of calming situations and allaying our concerns. If she was asked to do something she did in a quiet efficient manner providing us with timely updates and reassurance that things would get there in the end. She was friendly and supportive but remained professional throughout our contact with her. I can honestly say that without her guidance and support we would, in all reality, have removed our property from sale preventing us from retiring to the coast.
2nd Mar 2026 (15 weeks ago)I have rented with MMP for 9+ years. They are consummate professionals. All staff are polite, courteous and put the tennant first. I can not praise the team enough.
11th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)We recently exchange contracts on a property. Gary was brilliant from start to finish. Great communication from negotiating and updates throughout the process. Alan who showed us round on a few occasions was also brilliant. Knowledgeable about the properties and very personable! I would recommend the agent for selling and buying very professional. I'm also a mortgage broker so communicate with a lot of estate agents and I found them so easy to deal with!

21st Dec 2025 (26 weeks ago)Our process hasn’t finished yet so not sure of value for money but they were cheaper than most and the property is sold. Only irritation is that this was a probate sale and my sisters were often not emailed information, despite multiple requests that we all be kept informed

13th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)Unfortunately Halls did not live up to our expectations…over promising and under delivering proved apparent with inaccurate valuation, poor communication and we felt there was only interaction when we initiated it and although that proved helpful initially, it was short lived and the inactivity and lack of interaction continued… So very disappointed and we will now have to start the process again elsewhere…- 27th Jan 2026 (20 weeks ago)As the largest agent for my area I found them knowledgable

24th Aug 2022 (3 years ago)Found them to be extremely arrogant, who complains about a purchasers solicitor being on holiday in the middle of the school holidays. Obviously never sold a property in the summer before. Then expects the purchaser to let the vendor to be able to enter the property after contracts and payment have been made. Typical expectation of estate agents, middle men who do nothing and treat purchasers like dirt. Can't wait for the housing market to stop and the boot is on the other foot, and estate agents have to earn a living.

They maintain communication throughout a lengthy process, repeatedly checking the sale progress with both the buyer and seller. They respond rapidly and positively to all requests. They are professional while being friendly. I strongly recommend them.

Both items where I. Identical condition. I would not trust this company again. I should point out both items where sold in the Shrewsbury area. So the difference cannot be put down to regional differences. Be very wary if planning to or currently using this firm.

23rd May 2026 (26 days ago)Having viewed properties through other agents and finding them to be quite pushy, it was great to meet Sam and have him guide us through purchasing a property. From the start Sam was attentive and helpful at no point did I feel he was pushing the sale. He encouraged us to have a second viewing before making an offer so that we were sure of the purchase and checking in with use throughout the process. Happy with the experience.
