24th Feb 2023 (3 years ago)This agent requires sixteen weeks.There wasn't communication after the contract was signed. The property was on the market, but it was the twelfth week before anyone enquired. Could not locate agents window on the high street. They do not use professional photographers, which was definitely a mistake. The agent works alternate Saturdays, but never informed me beforehand, and suggested I didn't tell him I would be away. Unsure of the question as he did agree to conducting the viewings. One viewer was due to come on a Saturday, but never showed. It's possible she tried to contact,but got no reply. It's the same response I got when I rang twice on that Saturday. He got the keys along with instructions to the alarm, but still managed to set it off. He does not come over too well, and can't say it's the right career choice.

Dean Grove came out to give us a valuation and tell us about their services, he was helpful and knowledgable and all round a great guy. They were efficient with organising viewings and sold our property within a week for full asking price. The team in halesowen have been wonderful and i could not recommend them enough!
23rd May 2026 (21 days ago)In my humble opinion my house was fairly easy to sell so didn't take long and got near my asking price. Albeit Lovetts did pretty pretty well at this stage.

Highly recommend their services to anyone looking to buy, sell, or rent a property!
1st Oct 2024 (1 year ago)Would recommend the team here. They were patient, responsive to my needs and very professional. Julie Burdett and Nicola Clegg were particularly helpful with my transaction and supported well by Julie Gomersall when Nicola went on maternity leave. Claire Midgley was also great as a post sale progressor. Despite us and our sellers doing a lot of the communicating directly (through our sellers choice) she was very helpful, attentive, efficient and knowledgeable when I needed her. All round a great personal service and I have recommended them to a number of friends, family and colleagues.

29th May 2026 (15 days ago)Claire, Claire, Claire… what can we say? Claire Midgley was our rock throughout a very long and difficult conveyancing process. Working in the industry myself, I can certainly recognise a special agent when I see one and she certainly is a true credit to Dourish & Day. She listened to me rant (probably like a broken record at times) , offered advice and promised me she would chase and subsequently update me… and true to her word she was every single time!! To get the good news call from her personally today was the icing on the cake for me & my partner. Thank you so much Claire for all your help throughout, we appreciate you hugely ??????

The focus on the presentation helped get people in the door and I believe heled them see themselves in the flat. He was helpful through the offer process when I was keen to take the first one. I’m glad I didn’t.

6th Jun 2026 (7 days ago)We have just completed the house sale of our mother’s house. This was a stressful time for us but everything ran smoothly with Andrew Downing Booth estate agents. They had been recommended by a neighbour and came top of our list after visits from other estate agents. The house sold in January within a week of going up for sale and we exceeded the asking price. Photography, videos and all the advertising were very impressive. Communication was very efficient and we had every confidence in each person we worked with. They even created a WhatsApp group for us as none of the family lived locally. In particular Karen Tew became our rock and guided us through the process. She was incredibly supportive and she proved a very useful link between us, solicitors and the buyers, cutting through bureaucracy to get quick answers. At our request Andrew recommended a solicitor who also proved exceptionally good. We have no hesitation to recommend this estate agent in Aldridge.

16th Feb 2026 (17 weeks ago)I would never sell a house with anyone but Lee and his amazing team We went on the market and sold within 3 days above asking price His reputation and contacts and personal touch are what sets him aside His team communicate so well and they deserve a huge ammount of credit for the open, honest and professional way they have dealt with our sale Really appreciate the efforts of everyone involved and lovely to see the business starting to grow and evolve as quickly as it is Thats down to the energy and enthusiasm of Lee and his knowledgable and extremely hard working team who made what can be a stressful process , smooth and enjoyable / exciting and fun Tom & Tia I recommend so many peoples Lee's way as i know he looks after people
