19th Feb 2024 (11 weeks ago)They completely ruined the house buying experience for us!! They didn't manage the seller well and couldn't get required information from seller for almost 10 months after the offer was accepted. The most annoying part was they would not update us, would never answer their phone, if luckily we get through to them they would promise to update us and never call back. Totally unprofessional. Wasted so much of our time and money!
13th Aug 2023 (8 mo. ago)We have not sold our property, but withdrawn from the market. Prospect were very proactive in their attempts to sell our house, but we dropped the price twice suggesting that the original valuation was too high. We also had far too many viewings from people who were never going to buy our house giving comments like no parking or too small which should have been made clearer before seeing our house and wasting our time.

Passionate about our house, and the area, competitively priced and communicative and reassuring throughout. This combination of things also meant we managed to achieve a higher price than what any of the other agents quoted when choosing a vendor. It really does pay to use somebody who is as passionate about your house/area as you are! Big thanks to the whole team, highly recommended!

11th Apr 2024 (24 days ago)Belvoir have been our agents for a while now. We had to evict a tenant recently and they managed it all very professionally. A new tenant was found and moved in, in just over a month. In addition to this they arranged for contractors to get the house rentable again. All this was done in time for the new tenant to move in. Thank you to Catherine Bland, Sarah Hood & Leah.- 3rd Sep 2021 (2 years ago)Dealt with Abhishek at Beacons. Had a viewing and expressed my interest immediately and was told I would have to have another viewing with the landlord present. I was very eager to put down a holding deposit as I had had extreme trouble finding a new home and was practically homeless (Abhishek was aware of this) but I was told that I could not put down a holding deposit because if the landlord didn't like me then they would have to refund me and 'the accountant won't like it.' I emailed and called multiple times, providing Abhishek with a list of dates I could meet with the landlord and was told he would be back to me. I would rind him on the morning of each date just to be told the landlord was busy and for the final date I never heard a single thing from him. I was then told that the landlord was going on holiday and would meet me when they returned but was refused the knowledge of when the landlord would be back! I left a fair few emails and voicemails over the coming week with absolutely no response. I called and was finally answered by a rude woman saying that I has rung to enquire about *address* for her to respond 'so?' before saying 'yeah well it's already been let anyways.' For a company who claims to have a 'solid reputation and strong links with the local community' their service is shocking and I would NOT RECOMMEND.

Proactive when dealing with solicitors and any issues that happened along the way. We would look to use Charlton Grace in the future, and would recommend to anyone looking to buy or sell their home.

4th Apr 2023 (1 year ago)We put our flat on the market at a time when the economy was very unstable and the property market rather turbulent but Mitchell & Partners bent over backwards to get us a sale. Izabela was extremely hard-working and always pleasant and easy to communicate with. During the conveyancing process, there were endless delays and complications down the chain but Steve was very willing to help chase up solicitors to keep things moving. Throughout the process, we always felt that Steve and Izabela gave us a lot of their time and attention when we were unsure what to do next or wanted to discuss our options. Izabela even gave us advice while we were negotiating a price for the house we were buying. All in all, we can highly recommend Mitchell & Partners as a reliable, friendly and hard-working estate agent.

The offer was accepted in writing. While we were sorting out soliciting etc, took about a week because it was over Eastern, Elliot let other interested parties view the property without us knowing it and then we got a phone call after eastern saying that now someone else had purchased the property. So, if you deal with Pilgrims and Elliot Griffin, an accepted offer doesn't mean anything. Be aware!

3rd Jan 2023 (1 year ago)Estate Agents sometimes get a bad rap (on occasions deserved), But if you use Henry Phillips Estate Agent, they will take you through the whole process of selling the house, explaining how and why your house is advertised and when the offer comes through they lease with both sets of Solicitors. I can assure you, your stress will be much reduced. Our main contact was David Stevens and throughout it was obvious he new what he was talking about, A very proffesional job. Thankyou Ben
