11th Jul 2026 (25 days ago)We booked a viewing with Jo and we arrived 15minutes early. Waited 45 minutes in total. Called them from the start multiple times about their estimated eta. Always said back coming soon. No correspondence from them about lateness. They never showed up or told us to reschedule. Extremely disappointing. Never experienced this with any letting agency ever. Could not be trusted as reliable.

Even after moving into my new place she checked in with me to make sure everything was okay.

26th Jul 2026 (10 days ago)This is our third attempt at moving and we've finally done it. The two previous attempts didn't happen because we couldn't find a property to suit. On both of these occasions, we used David James as our selling agent, and both times our house sold very quickly. We used them on our third and final attempt too. We wouldn't have used anyone else. All involved are extremely professional, but friendly too, and calming at stressful times. We're adamant that we won't be moving again in the future, now that we've found "the one", but if we did, we know without question who'd we use.
28th Jul 2026 (8 days ago)After a promising start with Jared it quickly went down hill. We are first time sellers and dealing with WHB put us off entirely that we took the house off the market and are going to try again in a couple of years (with another estate agent).<br><br>(To be clear, when we cancelled the contract I emailed them with our experience and it went unanswered)<br><br>In summary:<br>1. We expected a consultative experience. Being guided through the selling process with recommendations on what to do. Instead we’d get calls asking us what we wanted to do… if we knew what to do we wouldn’t be paying you thousands in fees.<br>2. Liberty is in serious need of training. Any push back or challenge and she hands you off to Jared, during negotiations with a prospective buyer she relayed incorrect information on their offer, and speaking with the offerees directly communication with them was non existent. From the same offerees we were told that Liberty really doesnt understand the house she is selling, any of its unique features (even though we sent an email detailing them) and instead just guessed.<br>3. We had 4 viewings in 4 months, zero advice on what to do. With one viewing they were an elderly couple looking for a bungalow (for context we are a 3 story with steep stairs)<br>4. We received an incredibly low offer. This offer was delivered with no advice, no suggestions on next steps, no consultation. Just "here's the offer, what do you wanna do?" This offer was given around lunchtime, to which we countered and I had to chase a call the morning after to find out what was going on.<br><br>Rather than the consultative experience we expected, it feels like they are just order takers.<br><br>Based on our experience id encourage you to avoid.

She is very enthusiastic and clearly relishes her role.<br><br>We have now instructed the team and I’m confident that Laura will do a superb job at marketing the property and it will result in a quick sale.<br><br>Laura is clearly highly qualified and experienced in the field. She is extremely likeable too and can relate to both vendors and purchasers alike.<br><br>We look forward to working with Laura and the rest of the team.

From the moment we put our house on the market to completion everyone at Bairstow were really helpful. We did not have the smoothest of house moving journeys however Claire went out of her way to help solve issues quickly and calmly. Thank you!

As a first-time landlord, I was naturally a little nervous about renting out my property, but they made the entire process so much easier. They took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and gave me so much reassurance every step of the way.<br><br>I really appreciate the high standards they have, not only for landlords but also for tenants. Their professionalism, knowledge, and genuine care have made me feel completely confident that my property is in safe hands.<br><br>They have truly gone above and beyond to put me at ease throughout the whole process, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision to have Marriotts manage my property. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and professional letting agent!

20th May 2026 (11 weeks ago)At the start the services were very well didnt know when it was time. To move out i was almost loosing all my deposite. Things pointed out was including weed at the garden for and animal poop" note i lived in with no pets , within 3yrs. There is were and tear. This. Was not to be looked? Being shouted by "manager" to drop the key simply because i had missed time to take the key back as i finished shifting at night . Mind you i made them aware i was to bring the key and i was driving to their office. The level of rudeness was soo bad i was lucky to have the deposite protection otherwise 90% was going away anyway never gain will i want the service. That is my view

29th Jul 2026 (7 days ago)After quite an unimpressive start with another estate agent we decided to give Watson’s a try.<br>The difference was immense! We’d met Wayne when we had gone to view a property. During our valuation, He instantly impressed us with his knowledgeable approach to the property, area and local amenities. His friendly attitude put us at ease immediately. His enthusiasm and guidance was so positive and he gave his time with no added pressure to make any decisions on the spot.<br>When we decided to list we popped into the office to finalise the details, Ellie was the person who looked after us initially, but the vibe in there was completely opposite to what we’d previously experienced with the other agent! Everyone was welcoming and friendly and the atmosphere was so positive! Monica deserves a mention as she did a fabulous job showcasing our property with her outstanding photos. A few days later, our property went ‘live’ at 9 am, by 2PM IT HAD SOLD! Amazing!<br>During the whole process everyone we have dealt with has been friendly and kind, no question or enquiry too much trouble, kept us informed and up to date during the whole process and very importantly proactive not just reactive, they made our sale and experience happen through their hard work!<br>Today we look forward to another chapter in our life story, but we couldn’t have done it without you, and for that we will be eternally grateful. We hope our buyers find the love and happiness that we’ve known in our home for the past 29 years!<br>But mostly heartfelt thanks to Watson’s for making this happen.<br><br>Mr and Mrs Watson
10th Mar 2026 (21 weeks ago)Very down to earth and not at all pushy which is why we decided to go with him.- 28th Jun 2026 (5 weeks ago)Extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience for viewing “3 Lupin Close, Edwalton, Nottingham, NG12 4HU” on Saturday June 27th 2026<br><br>I had a viewing appointment booked for 2:45 pm, so I left home on time. Due to unexpected traffic, I realised I might be 5–10 minutes late. At around 2:40 pm, I called the Holden Copley office to inform them that I would arrive between 2:50 pm and 2:55 pm. I was assured that this was absolutely fine, that the team would be informed, and I was advised to continue to the property.<br><br>I arrived at 2:55 pm, rang the doorbell, and waited outside for around five minutes, assuming someone might still be inside. When nobody answered, I called the office again, only to be told that the sales executive had already left after waiting just two minutes, until approximately 2:47 pm, because his diary was “very busy.”<br><br>What makes this even more frustrating is the complete double standard. Only last week, when viewing another one of their property (14 Autumn Close, West Bridgford, Nottingham, NG2 7YL, on Monday 22nd June), their own sales executive arrived 15 minutes late. On that occasion, I patiently waited outside in the hot afternoon sun with my 5 and 8-year-old children, and I even had to cancel an important office meeting because of their delay. I accepted it without complaint because I understood that delays can happen.<br><br>However, yesterday when I informed them in advance that I would be delayed by no more than 10 minutes, they couldn’t extend the same basic courtesy. Instead, the appointment was effectively cancelled after waiting just two minutes, despite the office knowing exactly when I would arrive.<br><br>To make matters worse, when I requested that the sales executive return to the property, I was spoken to in a dismissive and rude manner. I was repeatedly told that his diary was “very busy” and that he would not be coming back. There was no apology, no attempt to resolve the situation, and no appreciation for the time I had spent travelling.<br><br>This is not how customers should be treated. If you expect clients to accommodate your delays, you should be willing to show the same flexibility when customers communicate honestly and courteously in advance. The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and complete disregard for customer time have left me extremely disappointed. Based on this experience, I would seriously question whether Holden Copley genuinely values its customers.

17th Jul 2026 (19 days ago)Please stay clear of this company. They are highly unprofessional and have no desire to stand by their own terms and work in a smooth and timely manner. They do not stay updated on any progress when working through a purchase of a property and do not act as if they want to get to completion within their own 60-day terms. I had two occasions on the same property when a mortgage valuation was booked in, and the Jack Senior at Let Property assured me the first would be completed. Once no one turned up at the property to allow access for the valuation, it had to be rebooked, and when I spoke to Jack again he assured me 100% someone would be there. But again, when the valuer arrived at the property no one was there to allow access. Also during the process it would take days, sometimes a week, to get a simple bit of info or just a return call from Jack or anyone at Let Property. They set 60-day completion terms, which I was happy to work to and moved fast on my side, but when they constantly delayed things, it got to the point nothing was moving foward. On top of this, they take a reservation deposit and will not refund it has we are past the 60-day terms even with the delays being their own fault. I would highly recommend staying clear and using any other company. I have found Pure Investor to be very professional, helpful and hardworking to make sure both the seller and buyer are happy and continue to get things moving forward.
