14th Jul 2026 (19 days ago)I've now dealt with Pocock & Shaw as both a buyer and a seller, and my experience has been excellent on both counts. Magnus in particular has been a stellar agent, combining real professionalism with genuine, attentive support throughout. What could easily have been a stressful process was made to feel straightforward and well-managed at every stage, from the first conversation through to completion.<br><br>Credit is also due to the wider team, who were consistently responsive, helpful and professional whenever I needed them. It's clear this is a firm that values its clients and takes pride in getting the details right.<br><br>Having been looked after so well as both a buyer and a seller, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Pocock & Shaw, and I'll happily be sending a few friends their way in the near future. Highly recommended.
20th May 2026 (11 weeks ago)Don't bother to clean up too much, no matter how hard you try they will still charge you hundreds of pounds. After living at one of their properties for just 6 months, I handed over the house as clean as I got it but they still charged me £560 for deep cleaning. Very disappointed I DON'T RECOMMEND IT!

Every member of the team has been professional, friendly, approachable and always willing to help. Nothing ever seems to be too much trouble, and they genuinely care about both landlords and tenants.<br><br>A special thank you to Rockina Geerlings, who has been absolutely fantastic. She is always cheerful, positive and incredibly helpful. No matter what the issue is, she deals with everything calmly and efficiently, always keeping us updated and making the whole process stress-free. She is a real credit to The Knight Partnership.<br><br>Thank you also to the rest of the Stamford team. You are all amazing people, and it is always a pleasure dealing with you. 9th Jul 2026 (24 days ago)We rented a place through abbotts at the beginning of the year, and the service we received when moving in was appalling. I’d like to note the property is fully managed by Abbotts, now i’m not sure if this is because we are first time renters, and they thought they could pull a fast one but the property had not been cleaned, there was still old cuttlery and food in the dish washer, cobwebs everywhere, pencil all over the walls, coffee residue all over the kitchen sides, to name a few! The Oven was broken, we had no hot water (which costed loads on electric) I had to pay a cleaner and we are yet to be compensated for any of this. Whilst we are still in the property and have now made it a home, I would not recommend this estate agency.

They ensured that what is -with the best will in the world - rather a stressful process, became as hassle-free an experience as possible.<br>What is more, they found us a buyer incredibly quickly. Our sales negotiator at the Stamford office, Ms Bennie, responded extremely sensitively to the type of property we were selling and therefore ensured that only the most sympathetic of potential viewers were shown around the house.<br>Thereafter, all subsequent sale negotiations were handled speedily, courteously, and to everyone’s satisfaction.<br>We would not hesitate to use Savills in Stamford again – and indeed, are about to do so!<br><br>Further to the above - we have just sold a second property through Savills in Stamford. Ms Victoria Short was our first contact and was really superb at suggesting the best way to market our property - AND any changes we might like to make before the process began. With Ms Bennie who has handled the final negotiations, Ms Caisley and the wonderful viewings team, the process throughout has been hugely supportive and highly efficient. I couldn't recommend them enough - and have recently done so to a couple in our village who are about to add their names to the Savills client list.
11th Jul 2026 (22 days ago)Despite not selling with the team, they provided us with a service over and above their duties when we purchased from them. Our own estate agents (“they who shall not be named”) could never provide the service and care shown by Ellis Winters. In particular, Gary and Jan were our stalwart champions. With proactive and caring communication, a personable service, honest and transparent approach, we recommend them wholeheartedly. We regret being hoodwinked into selling with “those who shall not be named” and wish that we could have sold with Ellis Winters.<br><br>We barely had a relationship with our own agents, but felt so grateful for the support from Jan and Gary that we met them face to face on moving day and gave them chocolates - well deserved!!<br><br>Moving house is stressful, but Ellis Winters will support and guide you through with compassion and expertise. Trust them - they’ve got you.

5th Jul 2026 (28 days ago)**Update** After changing to another estate agent after Connells, we soon came back to them to relist our property within 4 weeks after realising the grass is most definitely not greener! We had a buyer within a couple of months and a smooth sale that has just completed! Thank you again to all, especially Jacob who did many viewings at our house! And of course Jason, I will miss our Wednesday catch ups (laughs!??????) Thank you all!**<br><br>Even though we didn’t end up selling our property with Connells (the chain sadly fell through — no fault of theirs!), I just want to say the biggest thank you to Jason, Ollie, and Anna. They were amazing from start to finish — nothing was ever too much trouble. Any changes I asked for, like new photos or price tweaks, were done straight away. The weekly Wednesday catch-ups with Jason were always so reassuring, and even when the chain collapsed, they carried on doing everything they could to help. We’re so grateful for all their hard work, kindness, and positivity throughout the whole process. Truly a fantastic team who really care about their clients!

From the very start, they were fantastic communicators, professional, proactive, and clearly knew their craft. Within just three months, my property was sold. I honestly couldn’t believe the speed or the expertise of the team, but most importantly, they delivered exactly what they promised. 8th Jul 2026 (25 days ago)This agency is an absolute joke and a textbook example of terrible letting standards. I have been with them for multiple years, and every single interaction is painful. They completely ignore reported issues. A roof leak has gone entirely unresolved, and I actually had to pay for a pipe drainage repair out of my own pocket because the agency didn't take action to book the service. It would be an easy case to win in court.
