26th Apr 2026 (21 weeks ago)Dhruv Rupapara and Zac Summerhayes were the agents who worked on the sale. They were easy and pleasant to work with and had a good understanding of the market. They sold my flat faster than I expected, were transparent and informative all through the process, answering all my questions with patience and good humour. 9th Aug 2026 (6 weeks ago)Marc and the team at Hugh F Shaw have been excellent to deal with throughout the purchase of my property. The process took around 6 months from offer to completion. Marc was there every step of the way -honest, frank, professional, knowledgeable and very responsive. Helping keep things moving and quick to sort out queries and paperwork as they came up, as well as accommodating multiple viewings on short notice; all without ever making the process feel stressful or pressured and while always being helpful and easy to reach whenever needed.<br><br>Would highly recommend Marc and the team to anyone buying or selling.

After I posted a review on google, suddenly they had the time to finally call me back. Not to refund my money though, to ask me why I posted a bad review and still no answer on when I will get my £400 back! Scammers!- This agent doesn't have any reviews

10th Sep 2026 (13 days ago)I rarely leave reviews like this, but after months of problems, I feel prospective tenants should know about our experience with Johns&Co Nine Elms.<br><br>We pay £4,100 per month for a furnished two bedroom apartment in a high end development, yet the experience before and after signing could not have been more different.<br><br>Even basic information about the building was wrong. We were told parcels could be collected from the concierge, but our collection point is actually in another building at the opposite end of the development. We were also told we could access the gym directly through a basement entrance in our building. After moving in, we discovered that entrance had apparently been closed for one or two years. Small things, but they show how little knowledge the agents appeared to have about the building.<br><br>The move in experience was much worse. We were promised professional cleaning. Instead, the apartment was full of unwanted items, greasy cookware, old furniture and rubbish. There was hair across the floors and sofas and dirt in the bathroom.<br><br>We delayed our move by TWO DAYS to allow them to sort this out. Even after those two days, nothing had been removed. We ended up spending almost an entire week cleaning and dealing with everything ourselves. We also incurred additional accommodation and moving costs, with no meaningful compensation.<br><br>Then there is the furniture. KRISTEN told us she would inform the landlord that we might want one of the two large sofas removed and made it clear that this would not be a big issue. After moving in, we discovered the landlord had NEVER EVEN BEEN INFORMED. They only found out after we raised it again and understandably had never agreed to remove the sofa. We are now expected to either keep both sofas or potentially spend over £1,000 ourselves storing one.<br><br>The second bedroom also had no bed despite being rented as a furnished two bedroom property. A bed was provided only after our rent was increased by £100 PER MONTH. The bed and mattress supplied appear to be an extremely basic setup costing nowhere near what that additional rent will amount to.<br><br>The crack in the wall perfectly summarises our experience. I noticed it BEFORE signing and specifically asked KRISTEN about it. She confirmed it would be repaired. I even questioned this AGAIN before signing because it was not written into the contract and was reassured that it would be dealt with.<br><br>It wasn’t.<br><br>After moving in, we were told it would be repaired within a week. That didn’t happen either. Later, we were told the landlord considered it cosmetic and did not want to repair it.<br><br>RAYAN then told us that because it wasn’t in the contract, they were under no obligation to repair it and we should have put it into the contract if we wanted it guaranteed. This was particularly ridiculous considering I had SPECIFICALLY raised that concern with KRISTEN before signing.<br><br>I even asked RAYAN to bring KRISTEN back into the conversation to clarify what she had promised us. He refused, saying our relationship with KRISTEN had become too strained and involving her could escalate the situation.<br><br>After months of back and forth, we eventually agreed that the crack would be dealt with when we returned to London in September, provided we continued paying rent on time. We kept our side of the agreement. We are now back, and once again our messages about arranging the repair are being ignored.<br><br>The communication before and after signing is honestly remarkable. Before signing and paying, KRISTEN was extremely responsive and constantly followed up with us. Afterwards, replies could suddenly take days. Once RAYAN became involved, KRISTEN essentially disappeared from the conversation, despite many of the original assurances coming directly from her.<br><br>This isn’t about one small inconvenience. It is months of inaccurate information, promises not being followed through, poor preparation of the property, additional costs and incredibly frustrating communication.<br><br>Based on our experience, I personally would NOT rent through KRISTEN or RAYAN again.
25th Feb 2020 (6 years ago)My first piece of advice to anyone renting with dendrow is do not expect them to uphold their end of the tenancy agreement. You will regularly be inundated with workers and inspections. On several occasions during my tenancy this happened without notice and without a real explanation of what was happening. As most of my housemates worked throughout the day, this did not prove to be much of an issue but please do keep note of these instances as when you come to vacating the property you will 100% need to open an official dispute. Dendrow attempted to decimate our deposit via ludicrous charges that were put through their own cleaning company. The flat was rented out in a pretty run down condition and returned in a better state but £700 for cleaning was deducted from our deposit. When we moved in there were broken pieces of furniture, broken fixtures - again not unusual for London but never before have I had an attempt of £1800 deposit deductions for the pleasure. The real stickler was a charge of almost £1000 for a carpet replacement for moth damage under a bed. When we opened this as an official dispute it turned out the invoice Dendrow had used and evidence of pest treatment was over 5 years old and falsified in terms of dimensions of the room in question. Perhaps an oversight but likely an attempt to plunder money from tenants. Some of the charges were laughable including £72 for the removal of a sign the size of a piece of A5 paper. (I appreciate this is a breach but an individual call out charge and commercial waste charge for something that could fit in the bins in the building seems disproportionate). The independent MyDeposit review was a life saver and I cannot thank them enough for protecting us from these dubious attempts to deduct from Dendrow. I urge you to note down times where they have broken the tenancy agreement as well as you will likely be able to win back vast swathes of the money. They will take a threatening tone with you but remember this is your own money. Better still avoid them like the plague but if you have already entered into a tenancy with them, please be vigilant.

I would absolutely recommend working with Chloe if you are looking to work with an agent who will provide complete transparency into the letting process and reassurance that the flat will be looked after and well managed.

Selecting Laurence Leigh Residential was an important decision for us as we were selling our family home of the past 18 years. Laurence provided excellent market colour while also listening to our views. We agreed upon a listing price and after receiving several bids accepted one that was within 5% of our listing price. Laurence and his colleagues Anne and Guy are an outstanding estate agency.

21st Feb 2026 (7 mo. ago)Visited Harrods recently and overall it was an okay experience, but not as pleasant as expected. The store itself is beautiful and iconic, with impressive interiors, luxury brands, and a wide variety of products spread across different floors. It definitely feels like a famous London shopping destination and is worth visiting at least once for the experience.<br>However, it was very crowded and at times felt overwhelming, especially in popular sections. Some staff were helpful and professional, but others seemed a bit distant or uninterested, which slightly affected the overall experience.

Secrea's patient guidance and clear expertise demystified the entire reassignments process for us. She always kept us informed and responded promptly to our queries. Billy's proactive approach and exceptional communication skills were crucial in keeping things on track. He liaised with solicitors and efficiently resolved challenges, from documents to securing the completion date. We felt completely supported and informed throughout.
