16th Jul 2024 (11 days ago)We had talked to Rocco about selling the empty bungalow that we inherited, but then a neighbour said that he wanted to buy it direct. Rocco called now and again to see how things were going. The neighbour messed us around for a year before we decided to call it a day and put it back on the market. We had a few agents come and look at and they all said that house prices had gone down and properties weren't moving. Then, while we were clearing out the property I got a call from Rocco asking how the sale was going. I told him that we were putting it back on the market and that we were at the property. Rocco came straight over to see us. Had a look around and said "Yeah, I can sell this". The next day I got a call from Rocco saying that he had a viewer. Over the next couple of weeks we had quite a few viewings, sometimes 2 a day, and one of those made an offer, which with the help of Rocco we negotiated and accepted. Throughout the sale process Rocco kept in touch with updates from the buyers, and he also helped liaise with our solicitors. I would definitely highly recommend Rocco and the team at William H Brown, Hoddesdon

26th Jun 2024 (4 weeks ago)Lisa is an outstanding letting agent. McConnells use our company for referencing and I have never had an agent work so hard to help her tenants. She will go out of her way and spend hours of her day making sure her tenants can move in no matter what. Highly recommend!

7th Jun 2024 (7 weeks ago)I am a landlord and Linda Mathews & Co "manage" my property have descended into a fraudulent company. I last received email communication on 7th February 2024 from Maria. I have made repeated attempts to engage with Maria and the team since via phone, email and even traveling from London to visit their office - it was closed and looks derelict. Historically they were shambolic and couldn't do anything in a timely manner, but I stuck with them through blind loyalty. I am currently in process of engaging the Property Ombudsman to pursue my legal options - I don't want them anywhere near my property again. Also trying to speak with tenant to instead pay rent to myself - fortunately though I am still receiving the rent - and for myself to take over the management of the property. These new reviews must be fraudulent because Linda Matthews seemingly does not exist, even though they will take mine and others money. For anyone reading this review and wants to discuss how we could be maybe collectively find resolution, I can be found on Facebook via the name of this post - please do reach out, I feel powerless at the moment.

Whilst she was acting for the seller, she was able to help throughout the conveyancing process and proved to be a gateway between the parties. Always very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I really big thank you for helping is buy the house of our dreams.

The housing market is currently in a dire place but we had lots of viewings and were kept up to date throughout the whole process. The team are really responsive and always on hand to answer any questions.
