10th Feb 2024 (7 mo. ago)Very responsive and helpful, much more so than other letting agents I approached when searching for a property. Letting process quick and reasonably straightforward although the online system sometimes seemed a bit daunting for a non 'techie'. The only aspect of the process that I felt was poor was the handover where I was just asked to attend the office to collect the keys and door code. There are a number of features of the property that I have had to discover myself or by talking to the building caretaker. An accompanied handover on the premises would have made this much easier.

Dawn took brilliant care of us as first time buyers and kept us informed throughout the process. Dawn also recommended our solicitor and surveyor which we found really useful as first time buyers. Thank you for being so friendly, caring and helpful Dawn! Ashworth Holme really are a brilliant estate agents, they provide such a personalised, friendly service which you don’t always get with other estate agents. Without Kate & Dawn we would still be house hunting… thank you SO much for finding us our first time home. We are so grateful and will continue to spread the word to friends and family who might need an estate agent in the future.

16th Aug 2024 (7 weeks ago)After trying to contact multiple local estate agents to find a property to rent, I finally had the pleasure of coming across Bridgfords. A week after viewing and I am now in a property that is perfect. This wouldn’t have been possible without the help of Lian. He has been great throughout the whole process and I couldn’t be happier with the service provided. 100% would recommend to anybody who is trying to find a property in the rental sector, you will not be disappointed with the level of service and care shown.

29th Feb 2024 (7 mo. ago)Considerable over valuation of the property contributed to a long and unsuccessful sale process. They also favoured the seller’s needs over my own. Communication method are old fashioned (phone calls and voice messages with no content) all made for a very unsatisfactory experience. Avoid!

A big thank you to Sue in the Sales Office for all her help and support during our recent house sale, and to Rena for her help with renting our son's house. Both sales and rental processes were clearly explained and charges were very competitive. I wouldn't hesitate in using Northwood again!

15th Sep 2024 (19 days ago)Extremely unprofessional, especially when refusing to show us proof of the costs they asked of us after we moved out. I have never been charged this much for a clean, especially since it did not require the amount of cleaning asked from the company, and we had zero proof that this cleaning actually took place. They will claim that we “agreed” to pay this amount for cleaning as it was deemed “fair”, when in reality, we simply could not afford to pay an additional £60 to dispute their ridiculous pricing in case we lost and had to pay extra. This, understandably, caused a lot of unnecessary stress and anxiety, and I would not trust this company to advocate for tenants. Would not recommend.

Guess you was waiting for me to accept your £50 bribe to write a good review… — The use of Quality in their name is a stretch... Best of luck getting a maintenance problem fixed, I reported an issue to Alex which he said he'd "send someone out Monday" to fix it. There was 17 Mondays between reporting the issue and my tenancy ending and it still didn't get resolved. Even after confirming my notice and handing the keys back to Liz in person, she still thought it was necessary to call me regarding missing a rent payment on a property I was no longer responsible for? I'd expect a "Quality" Estate Agent to be a bit more organised than that.
12th May 2024 (21 weeks ago)We knew when we first met Adam Gaulton that he was the right agent for us and since then, he has more than surpassed our expectations! Adam is a genuinely nice guy and this, in combination with his impressive knowledge and expertise, got our house sold (for the full asking price) in less than 3 weeks! Since then, Adam has continued to offer us advice and support and has been an absolute pleasure to work with. We honestly couldn’t be happier and would highly recommend him to anyone!
14th Sep 2024 (20 days ago)I was impressed with Rob's pricing strategy and also his knowledge and experience. He had thoroughly researched the selling prices of house in the area. Ashtons really go the extra mile. They employ a professional photographer to take amazing photos and the brochure was so well written. They also advertise on all the main house selling websites. The team is so hard working and give brilliant customer service. Not to mention, their fees are extremely reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend Ashtons to anyone selling their house.
