What more can I say other than slick, efficient, friendly, professional and attentive!
We recently completed the sale of our family home, and I wanted to personally express my sincere appreciation to the entire team at Jackson-Stops, Alderley Edge, for making what could have been a stressful experience an incredibly smooth and positive one.
James really knows his market and, more importantly, knows exactly how to sell a home. His expertise, honest advice and strategic approach were invaluable. Not only did he achieve a sale above our asking price, but his guidance helped us secure a buyer quickly and navigate the entire process with confidence and minimal stress.
Of course, behind every great estate agent is an equally fantastic team, and we had the absolute pleasure of dealing with Shari, who was simply wonderful throughout. She genuinely held our hand through the process, seamlessly bridging the gap between ourselves and our buyers. Her warmth, kindness, patience and willingness to go above and beyond made such a difference.
What particularly impressed me about Shari was her attitude. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and rather than saying something couldn’t be done, her approach was always to find a way to make things work. That positive, caring and solutions-focused philosophy is something I believe truly sets the Jackson-Stops team at Alderley Edge apart from the rest.
Selling our family home was a significant milestone for us, especially as we prepare to relocate to Australia and begin a completely new chapter in our lives. Having such a dedicated, knowledgeable and genuinely lovely team supporting us throughout made the experience all the more memorable.
On behalf of myself and my family, a heartfelt thank you to James, Shari and everyone behind the scenes. Your hard work, professionalism and personal touch have not gone unnoticed, and I am genuinely grateful for everything you have done.
If you’re considering selling your home, I cannot recommend Jackson-Stops Alderley Edge highly enough. They deliver results, but just as importantly, they genuinely care about the people they represent.

21st May 2026 (24 weeks ago)I had three valuations on my property and Gail from Stephenson Browne was by far the most professional valuer that I met. Gail also completely understood and was respectful of my property. In addition Gail also got the valuation spot on.
I used Get Agent to narrow down my options regarding selecting an agent and I am so glad I did.

15th Aug 2026 (12 weeks ago)Horrific lettings department, had a terrible experience of a rental property, the place was dirty mouldy and full of old furniture the day I moved in , I had to decorate & put new carpets in - amongst other repairs, on vacating they tried to keep my deposit ( admitted the garden needed attention) but wright marshall aided the landlord to helping them suggest lots of issues I'd not caused, realising I had evidence of the state of the place they then tried a different tact. Came up with another list of issues , then more . I have obviously taken this up with deposit scheme , I will have to fight tooth & nail to get my money back , I believe they are dishonest and sneaky & would not recommend them nor would I suggest a rental ,they are not trustworthy in the slightest. They work in collusion with the landlord and will try their best to diddle you out of the deposit especially on managed let's.
They tried to suggest I'd scuffed walls & needed part of deposit to re decorate ( i had gone to the trouble of filling all holes & redecorating myself ) when I left - I've added photos to show state of the walls the day I moved in and the mess ( look at the wc !!!!) , I'm only showing on here to prove their dishonesty and the bare faced cheek to demand money
I had a professional clean , I put new carpets in & left them shampooed.
Be careful with this bunch - seriously they will try and have you over. Fortunately I'm a step ahead because I'm already in the business , made sure I had everything to fight with .

They are always approachable, very helpful, knowledgeable and I cannot recommend them enough. They really do care about selling homes not just houses. A massive heart felt thank you to everyone at Courtyard homes and I still can’t believe it was only on the market for about 4-days! ??????

Olivia was warm, friendly and honest about my property and explained the process and costs for me to understand. Katie then took over handling the questions and liaising with myself and the buyer always very prompt to respond. The office gives a welcoming, friendly, respectful vibe. A shout out to Danielle from countrywide mortgages who has been superb with helping me and my ongoing purchase.
20th Oct 2026 (17 days ago)The estate agent Daisy was absolutely fantastic. We unfortunately ran into the problem of the Banks going down the day that our deposit was due - Daisy made it absolutely seamless and was so helpful with us we couldn’t have asked for a better estate agent.

Any issues I’ve raised regarding the property have been dealt with quickly and efficiently. I’d especially like to mention Andy, who has been my main point of contact throughout my time here.
