4th Apr 2026 (7 weeks ago)Lots of promises and good advice at initial face to face meeting. They got me to drop the price quite early on. Two viewings in 7 months. I was supposed to have a phone call with them last week and had an appointment time booked. No phone call but a generic email. At the start they suggested I have new stair carpet and flooring in some rooms . I had new bathroom, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, landing and stair carpet put down. They took the house of the market without telling me. The sign was taken from the front of my house. I checked online and they had pulled the house of the market. Almost quite childish? I think it was a poor set of photos and description having reviewed my experience. They stated partially double glazed when I had every window replaced to double glazed. Just odd things that they didn't mention. I am not sure if they know the area and market that well as it is a good location. The house market is always difficult through the winter months but putting that aside , the company just don't communicate at all. I started to look at other options for selling as you just don't hear from them. I think the last promised phone call was my clear signal that as something needed to change. Their poor practice made the decision for me. I will express that the guy that saw me on the first visit to discuss selling was very good. Talks a good talk.
18th Apr 2025 (1 year ago)We didn't didn't eventually move home for personal reasons but the help we had from these people was exceptional without ever being too intrusive. They were very understanding when we didn't complete sale. So if we ever do decide to move in the future we would definitely use Bairstow Eves.- 6th May 2026 (18 days ago)We found the team to be very friendly. professional, attentive and always ready to help. Quick to respond to calls and emails. Any questions I had they answered and but me at ease and a great support during a stressful time.
6th Feb 2026 (15 weeks ago)Phoned up to enquire on a property they had advised for sale met with a complete lack of interest from the staff member who was not only rude but dismissive, fortunately the house is advertised with another agent where we have been able to since view the property with no hassle! Having made a request to agree a sooner move in date, she acted quickly to ensure vetting and property checks were carried out in time, whilst ensuring fine details like furnishings and further queries were communicated swiftly. The move went very smoothly and as stress free as possible. Thanks for you help!
13th Oct 2025 (7 mo. ago)I’ve used Redbrick as a letting agent for the past 4-5 years and they are far superior to any other agent I’ve used previously. Compliance is spot on, deposits are secured on time and documentation issued. Patrick will also offer a one to one with landlords and assess current problems with tenants / letting agents and look at the best possible solution.

Communication was excellent throughout and we always felt well informed. They organised a great open day which led to a quick sale, and everything was handled smoothly. Their honesty and integrity really stood out—we felt we could trust their advice completely. We unreservedly recommend them.

Its been three weeks and I havent been able to duplicate my loss key to my house! Why do you guys even have him?? If you guys are never open, dont display opening hours on Google

The team are all friendly yet professional. Oliver has exceptional local knowledge of the area and is honest and realistic about pricing properties to sell. Ray was fantastic in keeping us up to date, he excels in communicating effectively and regularly. Margetts are a good example of the importance of using a local estate agent, it really makes a huge difference to the overall process. We have previously used Margetts as our letting agent and again they excelled in keeping us informed and streamlining any issues in a solution focused manner.
