(123 reviews)4th Nov 2024 (30 days ago)Great experience renting a home from DM&Co (Shirley). The process was quick and easy and we moved into our new home within a week or so. Everyone we spoke to was really helpful and replied almost instantly to any queries we had. Evie showed us around the property and was really helpful, and then equally when Chiara took over to deal with the paperwork etc she too was very helpful. Would definitely recommend DM&Co, the process was seamless.
12th May 2024 (6 mo. ago)From the start I found John payne to be very professional and have been very happy with the service they have provided, they have given me updates all the way through from the beginning and have answered all the questions that I have asked about the sale of my property, fantastic service.
16th Sep 2024 (11 weeks ago)I would never recommend it to anyone unless he is my enemy ????. Sharing my true experience which will be helpful to anyone. I had the worst experience with this letting agency. I stayed in the property almost 2 and half yrs .Regularly they were doing the inspection and found everything well maintained which they used to say verbally. But funny when I vacated the house they wanted to deduct 75% of the deposit saying that I have not maintained the house . What a shame , if the house was not maintained they should have informed me after the inspection. But I think they had different plans as I asked for evidence but was not shared and was told that they are not obliged to give inspection feedback. Finally ,I had to go to dps to get a deposit back which took a long time . I would recommend to be extremely careful with this letting agency . Also, owners use to visit property without any information in advance. When I in fact informed the letting agency which seems to fall on deaf ears. Some of the things were extremely good but my vacating the house was extremely disappointing . Though, I am giving one star as one staff member was very good who listened to the concern and addressed the issues immediately. But I think people are in higher positions are not fair leadership .One funny thing is one person works 1-2 days a week and everything needs to hold up for a special person to come and make decisions . But since it is a matter of money I would recommend to be extremely careful as they do not even acknowledge the agreement. Personally if someone asks me to recommend, I would say save yourself mate . If you have to do business with them, you can capture all the videos, photos and whatever possible as evidence and keep all the communication on mail so that vacating the house at the end of the contract is easy and smooth . Do not go by their kind words and friendly behaviour. It could be deceiving and can cost you badly.

What an experience from start to finish.....from the initial meeting through to the final sales closure of our property I don't think you could find a more diligent, professional and caring service Liz and Nicola provided sound advice time after time and clearly understood our requirements from the beginning Not only did they sell our house in a record time of 8 weeks from advertisement to completion they also exceeded our expectations in the calibre of buyers they bought to the table and the price we managed to achieve Having sold houses previously I would simply say that their knowledge , service and expertise in what they do is second to none They are a great team and I would whole heartedly recommend them to anyone selling their property

Jan in particular is an extremely professional and knowledgeable lady, she returned telephone calls when asked, often within minutes and provided guidance throughout the process. She also provided me with details of a specialist service as I was having difficulty locating one. I also feel I need to mention Steve, what a great chap, professional and knowledgeable in his field of expertise! I would not hesitate to use them again if needed. I would 100% recommend them for any sale or purchase. Thanks again Martin & Co!

24th Oct 2024 (6 weeks ago)Worst experience ive had with a Estate Agency. Very unprofessional and dishonest process of bidding offers on a property. Tom the Agent gave false information about offers and the client requirements. I spoke to another individual who gave an offer only to be told that Tom was giving false information about how high the offer was at and then proceeded to lie. This is a new Estate Agency operating in Birmingham and I will also be reporting them and their tactics along with other members of the public that have viewed properties and how Tom has been sharing offer amounts with everyone other than tbe clients

From giving us a thorough tour of the property to keeping us informed throughout the process, she was superb. The team truly made the home-buying experience a positive one. I can't recommend them highly enough!
5th Jul 2024 (22 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
