I got ignored for more than a month, prior the only communication I recieved was to keep reducing the price. 6 months on the market with 1 viewing, 2 days with a different estate agent at the same price and already have a viewing booked. They couldn't find my keys when I went to collect them and then found them but wouldnt return them to me. Completely unprofessional and I would not recommend to anyone.

There were some technical issues on our part because we overseas throughout the sale of the property, the team were 100% helpful in resolving these issues. We highly recommend Sample Mills.

I have continued the association with trust and confidence and they have been very suppportive at a difficult time for me. I am also selling a property with the Estate Agency dept. Again, I have found them extremely capable, efficient and have been able to have good communication and support.
17th Oct 2026 (15 days ago)Shannon Lethaby, at Webers, dealt with the sale of my property. Like much of the country there has been a downturn in the housing market in North Devon. As such it took a while to sell my house, but Shannon was determined and made sure she got the right buyers through the door. The sale process itself turned out to be unbelievably complicated due to a solicitor in the chain, however Shannon's communication, and constant updates helped keep the process moving, especially at a point where other estate agents in the chain had seemingly lost interest. I would highly recommend Shannon and Webers to people buying or selling in the area.

1st Oct 2026 (4 weeks ago)I had a complicated move from Christchurch to Braunton this summer, having to pull out of 2 properties and finally settling on a third when there was very little on the market, being homeless for 3 months whilst waiting for solicitors to complete their tasks. It was difficult, but throughout that time I could always rely on the friendly voices at Phillip Smith and Dunn in Braunton. Both Vincent Brock and Cleeve Pugsley were so helpful, always full of understanding and advice. No request was too demanding and no problem was ever too difficult. I can wholeheartedly recommend them, not only for their expertise and professionalism, but for their understanding and patience during the most difficult of times.

4th Aug 2026 (13 weeks ago)I recently sold my 4 bed detached house through Eric Lloyd in Churston, Brixham. Although the legal process was challenging I found the professional ongoing support of Rachel and her team invaluable.<br>Eric Lloyd also have a ‘Sales Progression’ team in the Brixham Office who are brilliant at keeping you regularly updated with what is happening.<br>Overall a professional service with excellent communication, honest appraisal of what is needed to achieve the sale/purchase and a desire to get their customer the end goal.<br>I would highly recommend this Estate Agents.
16th Oct 2026 (16 days ago)I have just bought a new house from Persimmon Homes and used a preferred Estate Agents, Bradleys in Paignton, via the Persimmon Homes "Home Change" scheme, as one of the two agents to sell my house. Thank God I did! My house has been on the market with several other estate agents previously but to no avail. Bradleys in Paignton seem to have been the only ones to actively sell my house and get people through the door to view. We had several viewings and after a while a sale was agreed. Although there are only 3 properties in the chain, things have been very slow with getting the details finalised but, again, Bradleys have been the only ones to actively chase this, continually phoning the housebuilder, solicitors and the buyer to move things along. Debbie and Arash especially have gone above and beyond to chase up the progress on the sale and have, as requested, contacted me every single week to update me on the progress, whether there was any news or not. As we were coming up to exchanging contracts, Bradleys were phoning me every single day with the updates and seemed to be doing all the work from my perspective! I cannot thank them enough for all the continued hard work and effort, help and support that they put in to selling my property through to the exchange of contracts. The Manager, Debbie, even contacted me personally afterwards to congratulate me on the sale going through. I wouldn't hesistate in using Bradleys in Paignton again and would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to sell their house. Under sometimes very difficult circumstances, they proved to be invaluable in assisting the progression of the sale and made the situation run as smoothly as possible. The professionalism of the team was outstanding and I would recommend anyone looking to sell, rent or buy their property, to use Bradleys in Paignton, without any hesistation. Thank you to Debbie and the team, couldn't have done it without you!

I knew nothing about estate agents or the value of my mothers property but our daughter had recently bought a house via Mayers and said that they were good. We looked up and down the street and out of 5 estate agent boards that were visible 4 were from Mayers. So, with 1 personal recommendation and 80% silent recommendations we decided to go with Mayers. We weren't disappointed. As an aside, during the selling process we had reason to meet our buyers. They also had nothing but praise for Mayers.
