They have since added a comment on the on line details advising people of the fact that there are park rules and other things to bear in mind - all the things we found out about by accident

4th Sep 2026 (8 weeks ago)We honestly can’t recommend John Couch Estate Agency highly enough.<br><br>They acted for us on both our sale and purchase this summer, but their involvement with us has actually stretched over well over a year from when we first saw our dream house for sale with the agency and putting our own home on the market with them. What started as a relatively simple house sale and purchase ultimately turned into one of the most stressful and challenging exchanges we’ve ever personally experienced — and there were certainly moments when we wondered whether we would ever get to the finish line!<br><br>I genuinely don’t think we would have done so without the incredible skill, experience and determination of the team at John Couch. They went above and beyond throughout the process, constantly communicating, chasing, negotiating and, when things became incredibly complicated, finding ways to keep everything together.<br><br>It really made us appreciate what a great estate agent is actually there to do. It’s not just about putting a property on Rightmove or showing people around a house. The real skill comes in knitting together a chain, understanding all the moving parts, managing expectations, finding solutions and doing everything possible to make sure a deal stands up and gets to completion.<br>And that is exactly what John Couch did for us.<br><br>We are incredibly grateful for all their hard work, patience and expertise over what has been a very long journey. 6th Oct 2026 (26 days ago)We recently sold our home through Douglas & Dean and honestly couldn’t be happier with the service we received from start to finish.<br><br>Andy and Nicola and Jake of course were fantastic. Having lived there myself for over 18 years, selling was a big decision for me and there was naturally a lot of emotion attached to moving on. They handled everything professionally, while still giving the process a really personal touch.<br><br>The first people to view my house made an offer and I ended up with exactly what I was hoping to achieve. They were first-time buyers and, from the outset, seemed like ideal buyers for our home, so we were delighted.<br><br>Then came the task of finding a new home.<br>A special mention has to go to Andy, who helped us well before we had even found the property we eventually moved to. When we were trying to secure another property, Andy went above and beyond to help us, and the effort he put in during what was a particularly stressful time was genuinely appreciated. Although that purchase ultimately didn’t work out, despite all of our best efforts, Andy continued to be incredibly helpful and supportive, and we always felt that he genuinely wanted to help us find the right outcome. This included reaching out on social media on our behalf.<br><br>The sale itself wasn’t always straightforward, particularly towards the end, but Andy and Nicola remained helpful, approachable and persistent throughout. Their communication and willingness to go the extra mile made what could have been a very stressful process considerably easier.<br><br>We’re now happily settled into our new home and can look back on the whole process knowing that we had a great team behind us.<br><br>A huge thank you to Andy, Nicola and everyone at Douglas & Dean. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.

Christopher, Heather and Rob are in our opinion unparalleled in their determination to achieve a timely completion. Their high level communication coupled with the benefits of being an independent agent sets them miles ahead of their competitors. I wouldn’t sell with anyone else.
